Only time I saw a person truly getting fired on the spot without any compensation, with security guards called in to supervise her pack, is many many years ago back in one of my earlier jobs when the admin assistant, after a heated argument with her admin manager, threw a heavy, fulled loaded 3-inch hard cover file at the manager (who was still sitting down) and hit her head.

Other instances, including one when a guy got so angry that he tore up original company official documents in front of his boss, and another when a guy threw a pen at a lady (but missed) during an intense meeting, people still get their one month pay when asked to leave.

Normally company would not choose to go to extremes (sacking without compensation) if they can help it, coz not only will they lose manpower, it will taint company reputation and damage company morale as well.
