Honda Mobilio coming soon

hi all!!!

 

would like to check with you all.

 

1 - the CVT gear box is it a 7 speed?? meaning there will be 7 speed plus one reverse gear?

 

2 - Do you, do soft break in or hard break in for this car?

 

3 - does installing grounding cable will void the warrenty?

 

4 - on the gear shifter. there a S mode and L mode. i assume the L is for Low gear for slope. what about S???

 

will be getting my soon. maybe end of feb.

4. Sports mode. I've been meaning to do a review on this too but keep forgetting. Anyway, I just finished my 1000k n first servicing about a week n a half ago. So itchy finger decide one day to try the sports mode. Light tap on gas n I was surging forward... Drags the rpm to about 4000+ before it changes gear. Whoever said this car is under powered gotta b kidding. Disclaimer: there was only 3pple in the car including me. :) after the initial experience I must say I've been addicted to the S mode quite a bit. Every time I hit the red light and there's nobody ahead of me, my hand will auto switch to S, first off the block, reach about 70/80kmh den switch b to D.

Welcome to the club!

I'm seeing more Mobilio on the road and hopefully more mods will be made available for it.

 

In general breaking in is not necessary for the engine and by soft breaking in I assume you meant to drive below a certain RPM and varying your speed. There is no disadvantage in soft breaking in so just do it for peace of mind.

However I feel other parts like gearbox and suspension needs time to settle in. So in a way driving gently initially for soft breaking in does help the other parts.

 

For warranty I think everything is fine until something happens and they are troubleshooting. Your mods will be a convenient suspect.

 

I am not sure how grounding will help the Mobilio when everything is still new and if you don't have a heavy electrical consumption setup.

 

Suggest you drive it a while then do the grounding. Will appreciate your review here ☺

Ya elmo. Hope ther be some mobs for us in sg. Saw from thailand n Philippines website n forum. There are upgrades already. But I guess car still new here. Plus the warrenty is still intact. So cant do much if not kana void. Not worth. Hahaha...

 

anyway how much you guys brought the car for?

 

What yours guys plate no? Will give you a beep beep if I get to see you guys on the road.

 

Till now I only saw one at amk carpark onces. Lady driver. Other then that. None!

There is slight facelift for RS, but more in the interior: aircon fanducts, aircon touchscreen control, driving dashboard.

Personally I still prefer my current dashboard as the fuel meter is digital. The new one is using odometer. However the new lighting is dashing blue.

Kah Motors shd discontinue the Mobilio and HR-V, both of which see dismay sales, and canivalised by the Vezel, and strategise to bring in the BR-V to kill PI Sales of Vezel
