whyuliddat 1st Gear December 11, 2014 Share December 11, 2014 (edited) Sharing some videos of persistent road hoggers i met recently. If you think road hogging is bad, you should look at these elites. Ya i know my music is loud, blackvue microphone cannot tahan my SPL 5k setup. There is no law in singapore that disallow loud music while travelling. Lane 1 is NOT a cruising lane. don't be like that ambulance idiot and jam the 1st lane. Dont blame people for tailgating because you are the one that cause the tailgater to tailgate. NO ONE WILL tailgate an considerate driver. *Note that in all my video i will high beam the driver 1st to let him/her know to please give way, dont block the OVERTAKING lane, THEN only if he/her ignore then i will horn. Already given the necessary warnings, people just choose to cruise on an OVERTAKING lane. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0PgpO3MVXOU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbyKg63w8H0 Edited December 11, 2014 by whyuliddat ↡ Advertisement 2
whyuliddat 1st Gear December 11, 2014 Author Share December 11, 2014 (edited) Dear Sir/Mdm We refer to your preceding email. Under Rule 5 of the Road Traffic Rules indicates that (1) every vehicle which is moving at a slow rate of speed shall be driven as close to the left-hand side of the roadway as possible, and (2) that every vehicle shall at all times be driven in such a manner as not to obstruct vehicles at a faster speed. Failure to comply with this is an offence (more commonly known as Road Hogging) punishable with a penalty of a $1,000 fine or 3 months’ imprisonment for the first offence, and a $2,000 fine or 6 months’ imprisonment for a second or subsequent offence. When a person is convicted of this offence, 4 demerit points will also be awarded under the Driver Improvement Points System. The offence may also be compounded with a composition amount of S$130/- for Light Vehicles (LV) and S$160/- for Heavy Vehicles (HV). 4 demerit points will also be awarded to the offender. whyuliddat 1st Gear December 11, 2014 Author Share December 11, 2014 (edited) Not realy sure what i saw. have to go to laptop and view again. You drive like the actors in F&F I signal before changing to any lane, i don't disturb any vehicle that is not blocking the overtaking lane, i don't do multiple lane changes unless road hoggers like this force me to, even if i am forced to change line mutiple times, i change 1 lane at a time. if its because of my car acceleration, well i have a car that accelerate well, must faster than normal cars. Having a high torque makes me overtake well, doesn't means i am reckless and if you are driving near me and you feel that i am being reckless its probably because you are blocking my way aka hogging an overtaking lane. Its an offense to stay in the overtaking lane EVEN if you are at 90km/hr, simply because you are NOT overtaking. If you don't see them hogging it mean you are also a road hogger, because there is no considerate driving in your mind, there is only a "Max speed limit already i can stay at the overtaking lane and cruise: mindset. TP should really come down hard on people like you, who disrupt and affects smooth traffic flow. right lane is for overtaking only even if you are cruising at speed limit and the lane beside you does not have car you are consider road hogging. If you are not overtaking please keep left..... Roadhoggers will think that they are right as long as they are travelling at max speed limit, however they choose to forget that the law says that if you are not overtaking then keep to left. (In doubt refer to post 2) Road hogger can choose to travel at max speed on lane 2 which is NOT considered road hogging because lane 2 is NOT an overtaking lane Edited December 11, 2014 by whyuliddat

Your reply from the TP is just a standard cut and paste politically correct reply from the books, don't read too much into it. Your videos, self centered and confrontational attitude is not going to win you too much friends around here. I am curious about your awesomely powerful ride if you would be so kind to share. I was not driving near you, I was not blocking your way but you still come across as reckless. PS: Blackvue mic might handle Mark Levinson better.

Tenghock 2nd Gear December 11, 2014 Share December 11, 2014 I wondered Who granted you the rights to constantly drive more than 30 km/h above speed limit on the overtaking lane? Did you drive an ambulance? Did you patrol the KPE? Or it's your grandfather's road?
