Passim 1st Gear December 2, 2014 Share December 2, 2014 A cigarette butt landed on my roof top (likely thrown by someone on the second or third floor) and it left a yellowish burnt mark about a 10 cent coin in size. Would someone be kind enough to let me know how to remove this burnt mark? ↡ Advertisement
Unfair 3rd Gear December 2, 2014 Share December 2, 2014 If its a burn, cant remove. Gotta respray. If you are able to polish it away, means it did not really burn through. Thats your only chance now.
Lydiachristopher 3rd Gear December 2, 2014 Share December 2, 2014 Respray, or wrap a vinyl on roof, i get 1 dunhill, 1 marlboro in one night, try wet sand, polish, compound, unable to repair on my white paint. So i wrap with vinyl, cheaper.

Passim 1st Gear December 2, 2014 Author Share December 2, 2014 (edited) I tried to remove the yellowish stain or burnt mark with Hi Glaze 88 but it does not work. This is really unfair! Probably have to use a stronger polish. Any suggestions? Edited December 2, 2014 by Passim

Watwheels Supersonic December 2, 2014 Share December 2, 2014 Just paste a bullet hole sticker over it. Actually the stain is removeable but have to get from welding accessory shop. It's corrosive acid but mild enough to remove the burnt stain. Apply using a rag or sponge. Use already must quickly rinse with water and apply wax. The acid is used to remove the burnt stain after metal welding to give it the shiny metal finish.
Spinelli_ck 6th Gear December 2, 2014 Share December 2, 2014 i have used Autoglym Super Resin Polish with a certain degree of success. if acid is required, it would be safer to try with white vinegar first. ↡ Advertisement
