Stomp - Car Accidents

Im still looking at the video repeatedly and wondering where the cyclist came from. Nevertheless, keeping a safe distance is a rule of thumb

Bus slow down for cyclist, so he saw him, mazda 5 stop, so he saw him...

Camera car

1. Change lanes in middle of intersection (bus too slow he was impatient)

2. Follow too close to Mazda 5

At most, cyclist cross on red light (we don't know this for sure, maybe was flashing when he started)

Another impatient inexperienced driver trying to blame others for his stupidity

My god that's a poorly written article ---

the DRIVERS collided?

The cartons were sprawled across the road? (not wrong exactly, just weird phrasing)

The drivers got out of the vehicles to talk to each other? Well duh!! What do you expect them to do? Stand in the cab and write messages by pissing on the road?

A Merc driver crashed his car into a tractor in front of Sunrise Avenue Condominium, off Yio Chu Kang Road at around 7.45pm today (Jan 2).

Stomper Jimmy was at the scene after the accident had occurred.

He told Stomp:

"According to the witnesses here, the driver was trying to make a 3-point turn but ended up crashing into the tyre of the tractor that had been parked there.

"The driver may have accidentally stepped on the gas pedal while attempting the turn."

Jimmy added that he did not see the driver when he arrived at the scene.

He also mentioned that the security from the safety guardhouse at the condominium immediately alerted the SCDF.

He added:

"The street was virtually car-less and it has always been known as a sleepy road.

"The car bumper, tyres and rims were all crushed to pieces."

Can lor...

Just that stomper don't understand motoring terms...

He typed "three point turn" instead of "handbrake turn" (or possibly J-Turn)

Make police report and give them the video ---

To expect to be contacted here very unlikely, but you should do something.

As a general reminder - I'd also say that ANYTIME you witness an accident, stop and leave your contact details.

Have seen many SMRT Stavic driving recklessly and really whacked their cab. Good riddance to this one! [thumbsup]
