For the aspiring buyers of slow juicer, be prepared to spend more time and effort tl clean it than a normal one. Especially if you are juicing fruits or vegie with higher % of fibers. My Hurom went to stoarge room less than 1 month after i 1st use it.

I occasionally still use the normal juicer for high fiber content stuffs, but most of the time, i use the natural juicer - my mouth.

Here's my field report:

Fruit juice extracted using slow juicer is indeed tastier and like what one bro described, flavour is more intense. My ABC has never tasted so good before.

Yam seng! *hic*

Eh, how much time would it take to make a glass of ABC including prep and clean up? I intend for every morning.

Wash, cut 2-3 apples, a beetroot and 2 carrots takes about less than 10 mins. Clean up the slow juicer takes about another 10 mins. In fact, easier to wash compared to my Philips juicer.

Hypersonic

It's easier to clean if you have the pressure spray tap.. Follow up by brushing of the strainer/filte under running water.

please correct me if i am wrong, think some of the slow juicers bought from Qoo10 has warranty only at the country which the juicer was sent from. E.g. if the juicer is shipped from Korea, to claim any warranty, one has to send back to Korea and wait for them to test and do the warranty claim before the repaired/refurnish/replacement is send back to you.

Will the seller disappear before the warranty period ends?

Also is the warranty period same verse the local sets?

Maybe the price difference is enough to offset the troubles if the set has issues and the difference in warranty period.

I amost bought one online from Korea when i saw from some of the reviews that people had started to report faults and wanna send back for warranty... there is when i took a deep breath and stop the purchase... now waiting for prices of local sets to drop further...

hehehe

S$498 for a 2 years old model is quite cheap loh. This is the Hurom HE series. Slightly more than what you pay on Q0010 (for a new model?) but 10 years warranty on the motor and 2 years on other parts if I read correctly.

I bought a Morris juicer at $25.90 from Fairprice Extra.

Here's my math:

25 cups of assorted juices from food court = $50

Cost of ingredients, fruits etc for 25 cups = $25

Cost of juicer recovered already.

Washing is not too difficult.

Not need fancy and expensive machine. Anytime I am tired with the machine, just chuck it away.

Fruit juice don't drink so much due to high sugar content.

Lately been eating a lot of papayas, twice a week. I heard it prevents cataract but dunno how true.

Both my parents have gone for cataract surgeries and I'm trying very hard to avoid.

Blue berries also good but a bit ex.
