I use Kuvings ... Can put the a small Apple and Orange inside ... No need to cut ... Biggest Sprout in the market currently ...

It also comes with an attachment to make smoothies...

I am Machiam Chow Yun Fatt & I use Kuvings ... 😂

It's best to remove the seeds from the apple before juicing. The apple seeds contains a small amount of cyanide. Thought the dosage is small and our body should be able to handle, I rather not introduce any amount into our body.

Nutrients and enzymes are chemicals compound, which are will not react physically with the spinning metal blade.

If they are saying, the heat due to the friction between the blade and the fluid causes the chemical to break down, then it may be plausible.

Another thing which many people don't see in fruit juice is that, the sugar (be it added or natural sugar) tend to be absorbed quickly by the body.

Depending on your physical activities, it may or may not be good. But most of us here are working deskbound jobs, so too much sugar in such a short time may not be good for the body.

I have this suggestion:

1. If you need juice in liquid form, just get the normal juicer

2. If you think you need "better" nutrition, just eat the damn fruit.

I dunno much about beetroot. If you want to drink it, maybe just throw it into a normal juicer or blender, along with carrots, tomatoes or whatever.

There's always lots of local fruits like banana, durians, papaya, water melon, you can eat straight.

No need any fancy juicer.

And no one has died from drinking fruit juiced with normal juicer.

And no one has live longer otherwise.

Here's a new way to drink your fruit, but only works for citrus and cost about a buck only.

Not easy to get kids to eat fruits. They will drink the juice though, and a stealthy way to introduce beetroot and celery into their diet, masking them with other sweet fruits.

I myself eat the whole fruit though.

personally, i think drinking water is healthier than drinking juice of healthy fruits/veges + sweet fruits.

My girl somehow can just drink undiluted prune juice on her own (to help relieve her constipation). Quite amazing lol...

AFAIK, there are basically 2 types, cold press and centrifugal.

Centrifugal works by a high speed spinning blade to "cut" and the juice is separated from the pulp with the help of a fine wire mesh.

Cold press works by slowly "crushing" to squeeze out the juice leaving behind the pulp.

A cold press (slow) juicer works best for leafy greens if that is the intent.

Use centrifugal to save time.

Some veg r nice when taken raw.

Like cabbage, celery, long bean.

Personally, if want to intro ur kids to eat raw veg. Parents must set the example.

Here's my field report:

Fruit juice extracted using slow juicer is indeed tastier and like what one bro described, flavour is more intense. My ABC has never tasted so good before.

Yam seng! *hic*
