danielling1981 1st Gear August 30, 2018 Share August 30, 2018 I'm sure the SE trying to pull a fast one. Complain to KM management that their SE don't know what they are selling hahahaNot just this. I was asking if there was in car navi and he said no. That was deal breaker for us. Turn out, HRV infotainment has a link to android auto and carplay. Which he didn't mention at all. Buy car really have to do research. ↡ Advertisement

Bro, if u ask me, getting a stand alone navigation system better. If those inbuilt type, have to pay money to dealer to help to update maps. It's easier with those portable GPS such as Garmin

If those inbuilt type, have to pay money to dealer to help to update maps. It's easier with those portable GPS such as GarminI had the chance to use Garmin navi right after i got my car 3 years ago and i have these comments. Car navi is faster. At least for Mazda. Faster as in the loading of route after selecting destination. During routing not much difference but Garmin have delays in tunnels. Both maps can be updated. Mzd can also be updated on your own. But only Garmin and some brands come with lifetime maps. So no compare here. Now a days no need Garmin also. Your phone enough already. Can also offline maps. And also get live traffic information. Which is why best if can get AA / CP. For me delxue is not just for the in car navi. If you notice, the difference in SG is usually in car navi plus many other stuff. Mazda has keyless entry. Auto headlight, wiper. Cruise control. 18 inch wheels. Japan leather seats. And others I cannot remember la. Some will choose to go for basic model and save some cash by modding what you want. I prefer to go deluxe route and not void warranty. 3 years lei.

MathieuWong 1st Gear September 2, 2018 Share September 2, 2018 Out of budget range. Or maybe never "cross" my mind. I do hope delay a bit and can get AA / CP already fitted. Hmm. well, i'm not too sure whether AA/CP will get fitted in this batch. Btw, anyone knows of a good 3rd party head unit to recommend?

Rumors r that we won’t get AA/CP for tis year delivery. Next year I no news yet. However I read that cx3 in other countries is able to get it at their dealers at extra cost to install. If I’m correct, shld b Australia.

Well cx3 is a hot seller for Australia market, so i'm not surprised this option was opened to them. Guess we can only wait and see if this would be an additional premium charge. For 3rd party head unit, is there a recommended brand? I heard that once u install it will void the warranty.

Warranty void is a possibility imho Oh i meant the infotainment display w/ control knob. I ordered a standard model so i don't think it comes with it. It should be similar to those that are on the current Mazda3s? I was searching threads for those but can't seem to find any. And i'm also not certain if that will have implications on the warranty. UncleLabbit 1st Gear September 6, 2018 Share September 6, 2018 I’m unsure too abt the command control panel I tink u r meaning tat one right? Standard trim oso dun have the manual handbrake right? Juz realised tat the standard trim tachometer display is digital format (can’t find pics) seems more Swee than the deluxe trim wich is in analog version. You mean the standard model doesn't come with the Mzd connect infotainment? Can't be.. the previous gen it was standard on both models. If this time they introduce the ugly radio knob like those found on lower end Mz3, Eurokars are shooting themselves in the foot.Iâm unsure too abt the command control panel I tink u r meaning tat one right? The only thing that is digital is the speedometer.I drove a 2016 CX-3 diesel. The new gen CX-3 and the previous one only has subtle differences on the exterior. When i tested the car, it was fitted with a 3rd party screen so i don't exactly have a clear reference. It's a bummer that this wasn't included, but still it doesnt justify the 10K difference on the deluxe.
