Soya Supersonic November 19, 2014 Share November 19, 2014 It's about time. Some of those ah beng dealers really dunno how to count one i.e. $10k depreciation can anyhow say $8k, etc. Especially for OPC car when the parf value is no so straightforward to calculate. Dealer beri easy to con first timers.

Though i try to use my brain and do mental sums to maintain my working memory ... i think it is good function they linked the car ads to the depreciation you have calculated. i mean i always calculate manually but find it a chore to search for cars with comparable depreciation. the linkage makes it a breeze The Depreciation Used Car Finder was launched this morning. boss, as per my previous post that is subsequent to yours. i like the linkage to the car adverts very much. good functionality! Angcheek Hypersonic November 19, 2014 Author Share November 19, 2014 yep.....hehe i took thread starter word for it. my mistake. The sorting is not within the usual Used Car listing section lel. E.g. Go to Used car , find all BMW cars . There is no sort by Dep. in that listing area.

LiuDeHua 4th Gear November 20, 2014 Share November 20, 2014 Why is it that for BMW F10 520i, they depreciate at roughly the same range regardless of whether its 3 yr old or 1 yr old? http://www.sgcarmart.com/tools_tips/depreciation_listing.php?MOD=bmw+520&RGD=4&VEH=&DEP= All these depreciate at about $20K plus minus $1K. Then does it not make sense to buy a newer one? Like a 2013/2014 model? Higher paper value + facelifted.

Thanks for spotting that. Its an error indeed. The minimum PARF of cars with COE obtained before Feb 2008 should be 55% of OMV instead of 50% of OMV. Will forward to the technical side to resolve. Vega Turbocharged November 20, 2014 Share November 20, 2014 this calculator may not apply to OPC cars that has COE below $17K as it will affect the ultimate OMV.
