Porche 5th Gear November 15, 2014 Share November 15, 2014 (edited) I also have a bumper scratch last week due to the car park dim lights, so heart pain. Still considering whether to respray or just live with it since the car is turning 6 in a few months. Volvobrick Supersonic November 15, 2014 Share November 15, 2014 If car is already 6 plus then just knock back. It doesn't look like structural damage. In a year or two when COE drops you will probably retire the current one. New doors will not make any different to the resale price then. Just my 2 cents. Steptronic Supercharged November 16, 2014 Share November 16, 2014 As far as I know, knocking back will get you about 90-95% to original. Replcing would give you 100% back to original. What do you want? yup did asked abt knocking back n respray but was told the price diff is not much. Probably will go ubi there and ask ard

Tigershark1976 Turbocharged November 16, 2014 Share November 16, 2014 (edited) Hi everyone Need some advise. My car scratch against carpark column n damage is superfical with some dents n paint peel. If i claim own dmg fm insurance, apart fm losing the ncd protector for this yr, will there be any extra loading for subsequent yr? For own dmg claim, will is there a min req sum that needs to be met b4 insurance will cover? Thanks Picture: think its an easy choice....spray whole car only 1K+, for your case, only 4 panel need to be spray and touch up (less than 50% of the car). The ultra Max cost you 1K (market price for 1 panel is around $150 to $220). If you claim insurance, your excess is easily $500? plus lost your accumulated NCD... what do you think?
