Thanks for the reply.

By the way my van can't renew anymore. Reaching its lifespan in 2017.

I am thinking of getting an old Extol or Carry( >=10 years), or a Berlingo(least prob among the euro vans). Not sure what is better. Cant really afford the Every(higher depreciation).

Any comments? Or better to fold up my business? [:/]

Don't get the French,get Japanese...

Use couriers lor. There are so many logistics company around sure got one that can meet your business needs. Just need to pick up the phone call & ask. It will be cheaper dan you buy & own a van. If the van has become a burden just let it go.

Anyway LTA got turnover scheme for old commercial vehicles that doesn't require COE to buy new van. Google and see whether yours is eligible.

There are some options out there for you to explore. Why give up your business so easily?

I own a Kangoo now and is going to expire in 2015 (I'm the 3rd owner and I buy with 5 yrs left). Initial have a terrible maintenance record... in out in out non stop but after I get to know the "health" I start to drive with care and I don't visit workshop that frequently... but it still giving me goose bump whenever I felt something wrong with it.

Anyway, 2015 I was looking at Fiat professional doblo 1.3/1.6 or Nissan NV200 1.5. I'm not sure how is the loan going to be (have not investigate yet & I'm not savvy with car issue... just picking up) just that I'm banging on NEW car so that warranty covers me for 5 yes ie Fiat dobio and less maintain issue so long I drive with care.

If I not wrong I read from some forum saying for doblo (New) initial payment is around 4.5-5k but monthly instalment high for sure. If so I'll go for new car instead of 2nd hand... if you are doing small business like me... going in and out workshop is going to give you headache.

first gen dob was rebadged berlingo/partner and more reliable, cheaper maintenance

second gen is a rebadged opel combo, good luck with the maintenance

Fail In All Technology is really a rock bottom brand, dun be crazy, opel already cannot touch, fiat u want to play...

nv200 is jap chassis, renault drivetrain, this is a better buy by a long mile

Just hope more jap vans will come into the market. Seems like the only new small jap van is NV200. The rest like the Suzuki Every, Liteace, Extol are no longer distributed here. In time to come, really will be left with not much jap vans in pre-owned market. LL have to go with the conti vans for people who only want a small sized van.
