My friend drives the new Nissan Qasqai. It's really a beautiful car! I believe that the x-trial will be better.

I have seen Outlander and X- trail but not impressed. Outlander second row seats are flimsy like they are about to fall off! X-trail 3rd row is only for Frodo Baggins!

 

I have seen the current Sorento which is sold out and cannot wait for the new model. However, I have been told that will be about $160K

My feel is sorento if u dun mind the kimchi brand. All features packed except no blindspot sensor , electric tailgate.

Theres a last demo unit at 139999 now. Fuel consumption ok at 9 plus km/l. Thumbs up for kia

Qashqai vs X-trail

 

This is like iphone6 vs iphone6+. LoL... Looks very similar especially the front and different in size.

 

Anyway will the 1.6L turbo(from Juke) go into these SUVs if we wait a little longer? Maybe for the Qashqai. X-trail is more suited with a 2.0L turbodiesel.

 

 

I wonder if the petrol/diesel engines from Renault are reliable.

Is it? Got ppl comprain to me Sony interface not that good. Samsung no need to say they are overrated. But comes to resale nothing beats iphone. LoL...

Xtrail 2.0 - 148k

Outlander 2.4 - ?

Sorento(new model) 2.4 - 160k

Sorento (existing) - ?

 

Have tried Xtrail and Sorento before. Looks wise, Xtrail is more aggressive looking. Feature is also one level up. Not a fair comparison as it is a new model vs Sorento which has been around for sometime and new model launching next yr.

 

3rd row seats, Sorento wins. Sorento is also more powerful.

 

Currently, i am leaning towards xtrail bec:

 

2.0 - i know it maybe a bit underpower but i am quite light footed and fuel consumption is more impt for me

Has all the features that i need, in fact a bit too much - i dont need the moon/sun roof

price wise, is just within my reach
