Fuelsaver Supercharged November 7, 2014 Share November 7, 2014 I knew Sam Ong. Quite surprising he left Hyflux to join SMRT. He was the second in command after Olivia Lum at Hyflux then. usually ppl leave for higher post n pay, only to find out it is very difficult to head dept / company. hence there smthg gd about being 2IC. Fuelsaver Supercharged November 7, 2014 Share November 7, 2014 Resigned within 8 months, and he not even responsible for the more visible sector of operations. In contrast, being an MP seems so unruffled , have not heard anyone gave up in 5 years! Wonder is it LTA screw the CFO to deliver more or a lot of ghost in SMRT finance web. i think it's more like strong corporate pressure and dominance. with unrealistic expectation / mouth power by CEO, very hard to work. encounter one CEO before, told me take lead to help company bag award, when he didn't even wanna announce to dept heads & directors
Vinceng Turbocharged February 14, 2018 Share February 14, 2018 (edited) i think it's more like strong corporate pressure and dominance. with unrealistic expectation / mouth power by CEO, very hard to work. encounter one CEO before, told me take lead to help company bag award, when he didn't even wanna announce to dept heads & directors Obviously, your CEO wants to take all credit. Even within civil service, this is very common practise - it's a dog eat dog world.. Edited February 14, 2018 by Vinceng ↡ Advertisement
