The trip on the car gives the overall longer term, but the daily excel input is at that point in time over that weekly petrol pump Boss, were you at around International Plaza about 2pm ?? I saw someone like you driving out to Cecil Street or Robinson Road, in an F10 (the same type and colour featured in the MCF car mag).

Zyklon 5th Gear October 29, 2014 Share October 29, 2014 This f10 is very fuel efficient, as long as car does not stop. On expressway, I can get 14km/l at 110-120. Once out of highway and into constantly moving small roads, it is even more efficient. Cruising at 70 on 8th gear, engine is just ticking at 1200rpm or lower... BUT once it enters stop and go city traffic, 1L can probably only get 5km.

Obviously I find this fascinating, if not I waste time to type for what. All cars will show this trend, but not many will show such a big difference. Usually those 5-6km/l in town ones can hardly get me 11-12km/l on highway speed. This is why I find it interesting.
