You must be joking, why would you want to buy me a car, and why would I need you to buy me a car?

Respect others is respecting yourself.

I can also be sweeter and nicer than him. I buy u a car and all your problem solved.

Relax. Public forum mah. There are no barriers to entry into this forum. You will get your answers, but you must learn to filter off what you don't need and read those that will benefit you. Comes with a bit of experience and some common sense. :)

oh I am so sorry Heman75, I must have missed your comment this morning. I saw suddenly there were lots of things I don't understand and people were just talking among themselves, I was a little upset because I didn't understand what was going on. so sorry.

Genes is the best because he has been real sweet and nice. hehe

as my previous reply, rent a car is the best solution, surf car rent companies, easily find daily rate abt S$60.0 car, like Jazz etc, your allowance can cover the rent and earn extra $$,

flexable anytime can give up driving, and no bother maintenance

The gearbox is the bane of the 1.5l AT else it could have performed better.

I used to shift to D2 when entering the corners and back to D after I passed the apex. It was perfect, improved tiptronic lol.

I dare to say I get more feedback from my swift than my colt. I think I wouldn't even get the colt turbo if I had jump straight to Swift Sport.

Btw when did you get your swift? Mine was the 3rd batch in 2006. The 1st shipment that is equipped with steering control buttons.

You from Swiftclub sg?

I collected my Swift from AD in early 2007, no peddle shift but some buttons on steering wheel for sound system. I surfed Swiftclub site in 2007-8, after that stopped. Is the forum still active now? Lost the link.

Why you stopped after 2008 ? You should stayed behind and mentor the newer Swift owners....no ?

I have not read every posts so I am not sure if anyone has asked the TS

a very important question.

Does she have samples that she need to show her customers?

If she has big samples that she needs to take around and show off to

her customers then she needs a car with a big boot.

So hatchbacks may not be ideal and a saloon with a big backside

might be a better choice.

:D

Why must every nice little thread be turned into a talk cork thread again? Somebody is asking for advice, the least one can do is stay away if there is no advice to be offered. I read of the TS asking politely for people not to disturb, and yet people take advantage of a young lady.

Seniors and respects, looks like is the mindset and not the age.

Hi, I posted for advice at the Jazz and Mazda thread, but no good response, thought of starting this thread for some advice.

I am going into sales early next year, so will need a form of own transportation. This is the first time I am buying a car, and I am looking at resale rather than new. Can I request for some advice and help here?

what I need is a Automatic compact car(saloon or hatchback ), easy to drive, easy to maintain, and easy to park ( very bad at parking). haha

I will have $1000 transport allowance, $500 petrol allowance, parking and ERP is claim as use. I want to keep the car expenses within this budget,is it possible? I have in mind Honda Jazz and Mazda2, any other recommendations welcome.

Thank you all.

maybe can let us know what kind of sales you will be in. might help in better suggestions from bros here.

generally, can consider most Japanese cars which are economical on spare parts, fc, maintenance eg vios, jazz, latio, lancer

especially when u are bad at parking, better get one to trash around to brush up your parking skills

P.S. somehow I have feeling TS might be a seasoned troll...lol

When we have the time, taking breaks as what you did is a good way to drive from SGP to Penang [thumbsup]
