Hope everyone is doing well and are looking forward to a shorter than usual week, thanks to the Deepavali holiday on Wednesday!

 

As always, we have interesting news to share with you pertaining to an upcoming event this weekend: the 25^th and 26^th of October.

 

 

Our little red dot will premiere a new consumer gaming event Gamestart 2014 - this Saturday and Sunday - the 25^th and 26^th of October. The inaugural two-day event aims to attract a wide spectrum of gaming consumers, from hard-core PC and console gamers to the more casual mobile players.

 

Thanks to Sony Computer Entertainment (Hong Kong) - one of the major sponsors for GameStart 2014 - we have got hold of 10 pairs of tickets (worth $17) to this event, and due to our naturally generous nature – we are going to give it away for FREE!

 

Amongst a variety of events, games and cosplayers to lookout for, a main attraction of GameStart 2014 would be Sony PlayStation 4’s Drive Club. Driveclub was officially announced during the PlayStation 4 press conference on 20 February 2013. The game was released in October 2014.

As the name suggests, players are able to make clubs of up to six players and complete challenges together to earn fame (a basic form of currency in the game). Every team member's action contributes to the club's overall success.

 

The game's tracks and environments are inspired by real places in diverse regions across the globe while the game also features dynamic weather such as rain and snow, and a day-night cycle.

 

Also take part in the Driveclub time attack challenge and stand a chance to win a taxi ride on either an Audi R8 or a Maserati!
