Nzy Twincharged October 20, 2014 Share October 20, 2014 actually if you take the apexes, you can clear it with in almost straight line. no need to slow down. But have to risk the rims going very near the kerb. ↡ Advertisement
Ryu 5th Gear October 20, 2014 Share October 20, 2014 Ya.. those who like to corner, will use the chicanes as their testing ground.. Can use to test handling of the car.

Duckduck Turbocharged October 20, 2014 Share October 20, 2014 can i ask: instead of spending big $ on redesigning the entire road until so windy, why not just do the cheaper option adding speed humps n strips?
1fast1 Supersonic October 20, 2014 Share October 20, 2014 (edited) can i ask: instead of spending big $ on redesigning the entire road until so windy, why not just do the cheaper option adding speed humps n strips? Please don't. I'd rather go through chicanes than blardy humps. I don't even have a lowered car (they basically have a hellishly difficult time), but unless I slow down to <10km/h (single digits), my neck and back start aching (old injuries). Speed strips are slightly better, but they're still jarring. The winding road is a much better option. Edited October 20, 2014 by Turboflat4
Holdenutessv Turbocharged October 20, 2014 Share October 20, 2014 Big trucks will still just go in a straight line and drive up kerb.
Fireball0088 5th Gear October 20, 2014 Share October 20, 2014 can i ask: instead of spending big $ on redesigning the entire road until so windy, why not just do the cheaper option adding speed humps n strips? winding road forces the drivers to slow down. speed humps dont really slow drivers down. i have seen too many people just drive over those humps without reducing much speed. furthermore, after many months, the speed humps tend to be flatten after all the wear and tear
Xefera 6th Gear October 20, 2014 Share October 20, 2014 and we'll see big trucks, coach, bus, getting stuck in the kerb or damaged kerbs soon enough. They should put a sign preventing any cars > 2t from entering. oops. that will mean RR and likes are banned too
Knoobie Supercharged October 20, 2014 Share October 20, 2014 moose test circuit? good idea but why cannot just settle with slow down zone? so many colour to remember...
Ryu 5th Gear October 20, 2014 Share October 20, 2014 can i ask: instead of spending big $ on redesigning the entire road until so windy, why not just do the cheaper option adding speed humps n strips? Nowadays so many SUVs on the road, they can easily clear humps without slowing down.

Super7 Turbocharged October 20, 2014 Share October 20, 2014 Put road hump better, see who want to destroy their undercarriage or put a pair 'goal posts' (ballard posts?) just far apart enough to let a car go pass provided the driver drives at 10kmh to negotiate the gap? Cheap n good ↡ Advertisement
