Be realistic, now where got so cheap depreciation in the market.

Go Sgcarmart to see, once saw a Kia Carnival due for scrap in Sept 2016 selling $16800 (scrap value about $11,000).  Can consider for short term since might no need to pay road tax anymore.  Just the insurance and petrol cost.

Neutral Newbie

A new KIA K3 is available at $600+/mth depreciation. Its a decent car, comes with cruise control, vented seats, steering firmness is adjustable, and even has paddle shift. Handling is fine as well.

$500/mth depreciation for used cars is definitely possible. Quite a few brands and models are in low demand.

Walao $500, better dont drive la, act like rich guy , kedekut like turtle .. if have budget like this ....

New car dep can be as low as 7500 a year, means 625 a month. By right old car going for scrap yard only cost 500 and below. Only in Singapore old car dep is much higher than new car.

Actually they can post anything they want, for both dealers and owners, but not sure who would want to buy their old cars with such high dep. It's not just car. If you check 2nd hand things being sold on Carousell etc, some also posting their stuffs much more expensive than a brand new one. So just do your homework and find a reasonable deal.

Hypersonic

For those looking for short term ride while waiting for COE to drop, etc, I'm selling my Mitsubishi Lancer 1st week of May 2016.

1) going good and aircon working, no repair required

2) auto, original sport body kit, white colour

3) COE expiring 15 Aug 2016

4) PARF (final) $7,061

5) COE at $12,699, so paper value low

Hope to get some cash and buyer can get economical short term ride. Both parties benefit and happy.

If keen, PM me your reasonable offer and other queries. Cheers!

$500 pm is definitely possible. Don't use sgcarmart price as a gauge, the prices are all inflated by car dealers. I'm sure they take in the cars at a similar or lower depre.
