PQP in 2016 was more than 50k, for those who have renewed 10 years, it makes sense to scrap the car now. For example, a 8 years left COE that was renewed at 52k then, the owner would get back about 41.6k, plus body value say 1.5k, the owner will get back at least 43k. With the current PQP, he can get a renewed COE Altis for abothr 10 years with that money, meaning he get to drove two years for free.

Thanks for the explanation.

Exactly my situation.

Good time to change my 2005 Nissan Sunny to say, a 2009 Teana, both 10-year COEs.

Still looking around.

The body values suddenly shot up so much huh? See Qashqai hitting 2.2k and Avante 1.8k from this thread. Which exporter you all contact, pls share!

I feel so low morale my Audi A6 only fetched 1.3k earlier this year, and I contacted 10+ exporters before getting this best offer..

Audi never had good price anyway. Unless Q5/Q5 still can fetch some $. Even BMW price like crap... 320 maybe 1000 only

Conti most of the times cannot fight with Japs

Anyone wanna scrap their car soon cos I chanced upon an exporter that gave relatively good price(after a lot of comparisons). If y’all want know the worth can pm me. Don’t want just don’t take. I got my Teana body at 900(best amongst the rest exporter choices), and plenty of Low ballers too.
