xherion 2nd Gear October 16, 2014 Share October 16, 2014 Dear bros, Just want to confirm something: If i just converted foreign license to Singapore license, do i still have to show the triangle probationary plates for a year? Or no need at all? Thanks for the quick help. ↡ Advertisement
Steptronic Supercharged October 16, 2014 Share October 16, 2014 Ideally, if your original license is more than one year valid, you need not to. But, since you are a foreign driver, you display the triangle till you are accustomed with our driving pattern.

Steptronic Supercharged October 16, 2014 Share October 16, 2014 I do not think so. Technically speaking those who have 12 points system are under probation. Any foreign license conversion will put them under 12 points. So, I guess no issues displaying them. Neutralsg 5th Gear October 18, 2014 Share October 18, 2014 Here's an official answer to your question below: Displaying distinguishing mark on vehicle during probation period You are required to display the distinguishing mark on your vehicle if the issue date of your foreign driving licence is less than 1 year before the date of your application for conversion. You may stop displaying it after your 1 year probation period from the date of issue of your Singapore driving licence. For further information, go to the website above.
