This is why you don't make last minute exits on expressways

the chief criminal of the accident is the yellow DHL truck [rifle]

and it even didn't stop to assist,

it happened at LHD conutry, driver should be ok, but co-driver (if sitting one) hard to say

You kidding right? How is it the yellow truck's fault?

The driver survived. Luckily that this is a left side driver system. If it's right side driver, no way the driver would have survived.

Don't forget that in a "right side driver" system (like ours), all else being equal, the situation would be exactly mirrored (exit and truck on the left, car filtering left). So the driver still would've survived.

It's only if the *car* was a "right side driver" (the wrong sort for the road) pulling the exact same stunt as in the video (on that road) where the outcome would most likely have been even worse.

If want to fault the trucks... it should be the one that is right beside the video truck during the impact.... because he hogged the 2nd lane instead of the DHL truck which has already change back to 3 lane... [sly]

The recording truck ran over the accident car after it's impact with the white truck in exit lane. The only way the car driver could survive would be the possibility of him being under the carriage of the truck instead of the huge tyres!

Dont think the video truck ran over the car lah... it just impacted it and push it to its right side and move on...

True, I think we still do, right? Or has it changed recently?

Give you praise for mentioning this.

For all we know, the yellow truck driver may not even be aware that an accident had happened behind him.

As for blocking the car's view, again, it was the car driver putting herself in such that situation.

I was once caught in such an exact opposite situation, right-side-left...

Was following a van very closely on the 2nd left most lane. Right side full of speeding cars, so decided to overtake van from left.

Switched lane quickly and was stunned by the sight in front, potentialy less than 20 meters.

A biker decides to fix his bike on the left most lane, on a busy road!

Was lucky to have enough time to steer back to the original lane, and tell myself never to switch lane unless I have a clear view of, not just behind, but what's ahead as well...

Should I blame the van for blocking my view?

Yar boy, we got to slow down while exiting, but lane 1 is also overtaking / speeding lane...

Luckily so far, have not seen any accident at the exit area, only accidents during the bend few hundred meters before the exit.
