Noticed most people who drive a luxury or powerful car behave big fark on the road?! Like just now at the traffic lights, one audit A4 simply accelerate very fast from the traffic lights, maybe to show that his car very powerful?! Lol.

but ferraris, lambog, dont whack wasted !! they can put a bumper sticker "Sorry, if my whacking disturb you" [sweatdrop] [sweatdrop]

for those who drive powerful car but dont whack, the sticker for them will be "Sorry for not whacking, please dont suan"

I salute the TS for admitting he blocked the Audi

and accelerated to stop the Audi from passing from the left.

People do this everyday and they enjoy it and feel good about it.

In truth a lot of people do this on purpose and think they are great.

TS admitted a mistake and I am glad he posted here.

To the people that road hog and accelerate to block

people from overtaking please learn from TS.

Confession time: i did the same as TS more than once!! and i really feel shameful coz the other guy didnt even drive atas car, but sonata/crown/K5 etc. [bigcry] [bigcry] [bigcry][blush]

It works the other way around as well. I've had people say "you drive XXX big fark ah?" Even when they were clearly in the wrong

Yes, & these are people who have inferiority complex, who also worship $$$ but not there yet...& once they get there & you can guess how they behave... [dizzy]

Hi all, I did something bad and stupid today, luckily nothing went seriously wrong, but's I feel it's something worth sharing.

On my usual way home, most of the journey is on express way. My usual habit is to avoid lane 1 as I feel it's very stressful and accident prone, except for one special stretch of about 2-3km of the journey which the heavy vehicles usually occupy from lane 2 and inner, so I will goes to lane 1 for this stretch, and filter off lane 1 immediately after that. My habit is to keep 2-3 car length as safety distance even when I am travelling on lane 1.

As usual, I was on lane 1 of that stretch of the road today on my way home. A silver Audi A8 came and started to tailgate me, well, I must admit that I was unhappy with that. By keeping 2-3 car length, I don't think I am road hogging. My intention was to keep to lane 1 after that stretch of road then let him pass after that. Suddenly, the Audi tried to overtake me from the left, and my unhappiness translated to pressing on the throttle to block him from overtaking me. But I filter off lane 1 immediately after that stretch of road to let him pass.

The silver Audi didn't pass me after I went off lane 1, instead, he followed me all the way for more than 30km to where I intended to go. The Audi driver, a middle age guy got off the car and started screaming at me, I roughly remember his first statement was "what you think you are, I am driving a 4.2 V8, and you tried to play stun with me .... blur blur .... ", and lot of screaming following .....

I kept my cool, ask him to cool down ... I told him he's taking things too seriously .... I said sorry to him and after few minutes, he started talking to himself to cool down. Finally, we shake hand and he went off, hopefully his anger is over by now. Overall, nothing serious had happened.

Out of curiosity, I punched his car number into Goolge. He's seems not very Internet savis, and his photo, his full detail is on the Internet. His's a technical director of a medium size MNC. Being able to drive an Audi A8 4.2, I assume he's should be quite successful in life.

In conclusion, I should not have let my anger of the Audi's tailgating to block him from overtaking, I should have played defensive, slow down, even though his overtaking was a very close shave to my safety.

However, I think I did well was I did not went mad and scream back at the Audi driver, else we may likely ended up fighting and get ourselves into more serious problem.

Overall, I feel that life here is really very stressful that we must constantly remind ourselves to keep cool and don't let our emotion lead us to something stupid and even something unrecoverable.

Many of the bros here are rather focused on the credibility of your encounter than the real story behind this that you are trying to share with all here. To me this is one very good example of daring to own up to your mistake, risk being flamed by many here and learning to be the greater man and walk away from a what could be fiery road rage encounter. Many times on the road we let our emotions take control but you did what most of us would have failed badly at which is to apologize to a raging man. Frankly speaking I would not have reacted that well to a man yelling at me. Instead of trying to sound you out and asking for pictures or videos to back up your claims, I would say thank you for posting this up. I will take a lesson away from this.

Hello, bro

if you found the audi guy all the way tailgate you, definitely he wanted to show muscle once you reached your destination,

If I were you I will call my few friends to wait me at a kuku place bring baseball bats (something similar like steel rod, big grip wrench etc), then I let the Audi guy tailgate me to the kuku place, if the guy still tailgating, Then I say hello to those friends with those stuffs in hands, do you think the Audi guy dare to get off his car and screaming at me?

maybe some bros think it's shallow, but road rage deserves this Punishment :D

Hahaha at least it ended well. And seriously similar incident happened to me afew years back in Loyang ind estate. Think I posted it maybe here or SLC

I was driving 1.6 lancer n suddenly this LS460 cut into my lane so what I did was honk

He came chasing me n said: I'm driving 460, you driving 1600 what u think u are

Me: knnmpcb! Think u 460 u own the road!

Next day there was a TP hanging around the area, WTF I was thinking but it may be coincidence

As I'm still working in that area, will still see him around that area n also at petrol kiosk

But I just ignore him unless he come barking

I really Duno what's in their mind hahaha

Hi Blueblueman,

Long time no see/hear, trust all is well.

Your experience sure happened to many under cat. a & b owner, it does not necessary mean high powered car has the ego to vent anger on the velocity on the mental stage, merely a car does not carry one statement of a strong man in steel, once out of the car, he /she is merely a human being. A heavy duty car owner thinks he is invincible on the road that he wanted attention, does not mean he can do as and when he likes ?

Wad is on their mind is merely their ego has been boosted that the engine cc is much bigger than their balls which has shrinked his testicles to such sizes, we called " ding dong " [bounce1]

Ignore such idiot and move on.

I don't know why so many people feel the need to confess their sins in a public forum.

In any case, I hereby absolve you, my son. Say twenty "Hail Audi"-ies on your way out, you'll have lifelong good carma. [laugh]

It's obviously because the internet is serious business.
