SENGKANG WHEELCHAIR BEGGAR EXPOSED TO BE WALKING WELL AND LIVES IN 5 ROOM FLAT

Dear All Singapore Stuff,

I always notice this male wheelchair beggar at Sengkang Riverside Square Food Court going to every table begging for money and if you do not give, he will not give up and keep staring and begging you for money.

But according to the hawkers, this man is a cheat who is healthy and able to walk. Some people have also seen him walk into a house without assistance and walks at a steady normal pace. It is also said he is leading a comfortable life living in a 5 room flat and pretends to be a paralysed to sustain his living.

Everyone please do not be cheated by this man and his dishonest antics. He is healthy but he refuse to find a proper job and choose to live on the charity of other Singaporeans.

It is people like him that spoils the market for the real needy people who need help and resort to selling tissue or begging at hawker centers.

The next time anyone see him, please expose him and do not give him money. This is a warning message for all Singaporeans. But if you still wish to give him, it is freely your choice.

Thomas

Another one in Singapore. Tells different sob each time. One weekends probably more than $1000 from scamming. This may put her at the top 5% of the income bracket.

http://www.wanbao.com.sg/local/story20140819-35423#local

AMK Central got one guy always asks for money. Politely says he just got released from prison/DRC, regrets his past actions, and then asks for money for a meal or to go to halfway house in another part of the island.

I also have already stopped giving in the streets. Too many syndicates. Just give to charity org, at least they have social worker to do the check.

talking about charity orgs, what do u think of those that hire marketing agents to solicit regular donations at malls and train stations etc?

not 100% goes into helping the needy.. part of your donation goes into the hiring these agents..

Skip the marketeers, go direct to the organisation. We should educate ourselves who are the charities. Next time someone ask for help, can help them to call. If they decline, it's their basah.

Skip the charities, just give to the person that needs it most.

I like to personally give to young mothers with kids to bring

up and husbands run away.
