Anyone know where can I get exactly this hinge model? I have tried to search a few shops in Kelantan lane, either it's too long or too strong for my cabinet cover....

TS, dono where u stay but I also replaced mine this year too.

 

I got my replacement parts this year fm Ngai Seng Supplier @ Blk 5022 Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2.

 

Btw, remember to choose one that can take the loading weight of yr door. Iirc, I opt for one that can take up to 20kg as mine is a big piece of glass door.

I bought mine at Blk 38, Defu Lane 10, ground floor shop. There are a roll of shops dealing with glass and cabinets.

I think should have because it's a furniture hardware shop.

My normal dishwasher cabinet requires 2x 10kg hydraulic arms... I tried 12kg before, too strong, the whole door spring up when push little bit. They have 8kg arm too...

We purchased soft closers from Ikea Tampines for DIY installation for kitchen drawers. That was about 7 yrs ago. We found the soft closers in the section which display door/drawer handle/knob,

I need to find a supplier for my hinges.

They seem to be made by 'Silent.'

Well today I've tried the Jln Sultan shop. Cheap but China made and not strong enough piston pull.

 

Defu Lane 10 shop not open today.

 

Geylang shop very helpful but piston pull too strong.

Final update from me.

 

Today we went to Viborg Trading, 277 Kranji RD.

Very easy to find and only 20 min from Clementi.

 

The guys in the shop were very helpful and although they didn't stock the 'Silent' brand any longer they did stock no name China brand which looked exactly the same as my Silent brand.

Seemed to open and close with the same force as my remaining working closer and only cost S$3 each.

 

I recommend this shop.
