Columbian78 6th Gear October 1, 2014 Share October 1, 2014 I did the berlin marathon, but in 5h many years back. It is a good place for world records and personal bests as the course is quite flat. The whole city turned out to support the 40000 runners. I never forget the experiencing of seeing chio model-like berlin girls who pulled down their shorts and pee in broad day light at the starting line. Sabastian Sawe made history at the London Marathon by becoming the first athlete to run a sub-two-hour marathon in a competitive race. Unheard of prior to this and did it on London Marathon route.
