Mugenboy 1st Gear September 24, 2014 Share September 24, 2014 Anyone know is there any per entry parking on Saturday & Sunday near Parkway Parade? Hourly parking is hurting the pocket quite a lot. ↡ Advertisement

You can park at Blk 89 MSCP. The rate is per HDB parking rate & is much cheaper if you are to park at Parkway Parade shopping mall.

Vhtfhwlego Supercharged September 24, 2014 Share September 24, 2014 A slave to the car? Years ago I remembered how I save on parking charges. Few lessons learnt and I never want to do that again. Planned to be at Bugis Junction for hours 4pm to 6pm. Save on ERP and parking so I parked at Arab Street. Heavy Rain came, umbrellas all sold out and cannot go back car. Asked a friend to pick my wife up from Toa Payoh to Bugis, bought him a dinner for repayment. Suppose to save $3 end up spending $20. Planned to walk all day at Suntec/Marina/City Hall during Sunday. Parked at Waterloo Street (Free parking). Then heavy rain came again. Went for a smoke, saw someone alighting from cab, threw the cigarette away and took cab back to the car for ±$4.5. Still save on parking but what if I couldnt get a cab? I'm so lazy now that ask me walk across the street for cheaper alternative I also don't want.

Mugenboy 1st Gear September 24, 2014 Author Share September 24, 2014 Arab Street not easy to get free parking especially from 5pm. Mostly have to be there like 4pm where spent $1 on parking coupon. Waterloo still have free parking on Sunday? Noticed most of them had been converted to URA parking time from 8.30am to 10pm. A slave to the car? Years ago I remembered how I save on parking charges. Virus 2nd Gear September 25, 2014 Share September 25, 2014 Used to do that in the past, try to save on parking fee by parking else-where, ended up more troublesome. Defeat the purpose of owning car.
Berncsp76 6th Gear September 25, 2014 Share September 25, 2014 get a unit number that is valid on the private property beside PP and give to security guard, then walk out from there. Can park whole day even, but not sure if they will clamp your car for overnight parking. ↡ Advertisement
