Anyone previously drove a e36 325i before? Just wondering if this machine comes with abs and air bags for drive and passenger..and also in terms of maintenance, is it difficult to take care?

Just find tat this gem still looks very handsome even after so long! Thanks

Used to own one ... The Gear Shift like Fighter Jet ... [laugh]

It is also one of the Bulkier 3 Series Models ...

The E46 is still by far my Favorite ... More Curvy ... Flared Wheel Arches ... So Sexy ...

The only problem is the COE ... Otherwise, the E36 & E46 is pretty easy to maintain ... Naturally Aspirated ... 6 Cylinders ...

Don't have all that Computer bulls**t Module Crap thing that is so complicated for BMWs these days ... [nod]

I think Mockngbrd has a E46 ... You can ask him for more details ...

E46 is OK in term of maintenance. Engine may leak (a few hundred to rectify). Electronics OK as it is still a simple car. Roof lining, like some conti, may need attention. Air con cost me 800 to repair once. Other than these, no other issue to report.

But one by one all going to car heaven..... mine will probably be going to NZ.

Drove most of the E36s from 316,318,320 to 325 and end of line 328. Only thing have not tried was the M3, the diesel versions and the 318is.

If the 325i you are looking for is a manual, go for it! I remember the E36 most for its twitchy backside. Very easy to get the rear twitching in corners with heavy throttle (but need minimum 320i manual and above.)

No, not M3. ;)

Real M3s from what i know, there are 3 running on the roads. 1 x estoril blue coupe, 1 x avus blue coupe, 1 x estoril blue sedan.

Not very as long as everything is sorted. Maybe set aside a nice budget to redo all the wear/tear and shd serve you well thereafter. Less electronics than later generations of 3s. Prob the last 3 Series with so little elecs.

Parts available from the usual suspects. Eng Soon. If no stock, just order. BMW even still has parts for the 2002-era cars.
