Think the rear seats were pushed forward (enlarged boot)? If it's pushed backward (normal boot position), the leg room is spacious. My complaint is, the rear seats are rather flat.

nope.. checked it.. perhaps it is more of sideway space tight..

yup, leg space is more than enough. It's too tight for 3 (side by side) at the rear especially in this day of bigger build and obese population. [:p]

Review by Carbuyer,

Judging from the video...The interior material used seem to be very cheapo for a Conti car..or Nissan owned car....

Captur is based on the Clio so it's no surprise that it's quite small inside and built to a price. The direct competitor is the Peugeot 2008 which is based on the 208.

I am currently researching this car too...but have not test drive. Seems like ok....except low powered.

Being diesel, it should be torquey for pulling power at low torque but I suppose overtaking may be an issue. Some bros also said driving style may need to change (see bmw gran tourer thread).

Other issue could be the cost of long term maintenance of diesel engines but some say it's about the same. Going into Malaysia maybe a problem as well if you intend to go for few days cos they don't sell Euro5 diesels though again some say mix abit shld be ok.

The Europeans seems to fancy diesel a lot unlike the Japs who swear by hybrids.

Keep the feedback coming if you have some other info, thks!

Turbocharged

anyone visit the road show at vivo?

i think the car is quite cool and with diesel turbo.

what is the cons of diesel car?

will maintainence be expensive?

Main cons of diesel are:

higher road tax

low power output

low redline

higher emissions of certain types of gas (especially nitrogen based), sometimes said to be cancerous

sometimes requires long distance driving to aid in particulate filter regeneration

very unsuitable for short distance driving

On the other hand diesel has its pros:

does not need spark plugs or glow plugs nowadays

diesel fuel is cheap versus petrol and gets longer range

torque is far higher than gasoline engines

low carbon dioxide emissions

long distance capability (due to low consumption)
