Neost 6th Gear September 19, 2014 Share September 19, 2014 Ong and Choo is different from Sitoh.. Both of them are destine for political appointments. Hence, must get them onboard. If they are just in for a backbencher role, then the whole strategy will be different

Darryn Turbocharged September 19, 2014 Share September 19, 2014 This business of having Pappy lackeys "advising" in oppo held constituencies is the most ridiculous, unjust nonsense. It's severely unjust, and to my mind should be changed - what I'd like to see would be senior ministry folk taking up the role, and then actually attending the meetings. The WHOLE time I was involved with RC, I never once saw our advisor attend even one meeting - how to advise like that? Not to mention the whole "GOH" thing - every single event that is held - the PAP MP is invited as GOH. For one baby fair I wanted to get a "celebrity mum" as GOH - it was refused as it would be considered an insult to the advisor (who is unwed with no children)

Come to think of it. If we do not have GRCs and only strictly single seat constituency, then I wonder if these super busy MPs will get relected in the following GE.

There's a few folk that have gone full time MP - and they must be given respect. However in general, I feel that access to MPs is too low, and needs to be improved
