向华胜因食道癌末期，昨晚在北京协和医院逝世，享年64岁。（网络照片）

（综合讯）曾投资拍摄《赌神》、《逃学威龙》、《唐伯虎点秋香》等多部卖座电影的永盛电影公司老板向华胜因食道癌末期，昨晚在北京协和医院逝世，享年64岁。

向华胜之前因食道癌频传病危消息，尽管病况还算稳定，昨晚还是不敌病魔，因食道癌引发器官衰竭，不幸在北京病逝。

据香港《苹果日报》报道，向华胜太太端木樱子表示丈夫是在晚上7时许逝世，她说：“我已经有心理准备，已经接受了，他自从有这个病之后，临走时他跟我说‘我先走一步，自己已经无憾，觉得没什么，你们不要伤心，唯一担心你，怕没人照顾’。我叫他不用担心，我会照顾自己，他只是上天做菩萨，脱离痛苦，我已接受。”

樱子表示之后将返回香港举行丧礼与追思会，并与向氏家族讨论安排事宜。

向华胜在80年代活跃香港影坛，永盛电影公司也是他与胞兄向华强共同成立，当时更捧红不少艺人，包含周星驰、刘德华等人。
