Cutting Tree without reason.

There are at least 10 plus old trees at Canada Road and Montreal Road being cut down.

These trees are strong like pine tree and don't look sick in anyway.

Don't understand what are they doing.

 

I also remember there are a few big trees near Yishun Mrt, now cut just left 1.

Seems to be everywhere.....

 

Probably as an "insurance" against falling trees in bad weather.

 

Maybe they need wood urgently. :D

I sense quite windy recently. Probably a precautionary measures to cut those with high risk of falling.

 

Not nice if the fallen branches fall on people or properties.

ehh.. never cut down no space for the annual "tree planting" ceremony for our ministers leh..

 

nowadays not much space for you to plant new trees you know???

Yes, I do see them in a Chinese temple at Jurong West.

 

they need trees with branches that is not heavy and fatal when fallen over pedestrians or motorists.

may not be easy to check least get an answer from them. Could be classified as top secret information. Don't pray pray. :D

 

The fishball stick already a big problem. Trees need more attention.

Cut the trees, clear the land. Sacrifice the natural and open spaces in the name of development, population expansion and progress.
