The_Bear Turbocharged September 24, 2014 Share September 24, 2014 What about Skoda Octavia Combi RS 2007: http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.php?ID=371728 - 2 litre turbo charged engine - 6 speed manual gearbox - Large boot space Does this fit your requirements? Skodas are under-rated and they are great value for money especially used. 👍

Vinceng Turbocharged September 25, 2014 Share September 25, 2014 Almera seems a good choice. Almera's look may not be favourable to all, but the rear leg room really puts most, if not all mid sized cars to shame. Can literally cross legs like a towkay when seated behind. Ahgong Supercharged September 26, 2014 Share September 26, 2014 Depends on how many years of the 2nd cars, if it's less than 7 years, as a Japanese car, not much wear & tear parts need to change as long as the owner service the car regualarly, but if it's Korean car, better think twice why? Icebrush79 4th Gear September 26, 2014 Share September 26, 2014 CTR must be JDM version, Euro CTR 2 doors not suit for family as TS request, alternatively Euro Accord Type R, 6MT with brilliant responsive 2nd hand one price fell in new B&B category, If only the new Type R is launched this year, all problems solved. You're absolutely right about FN2R being family unfriendly. I'm facing the same predicament and am looking at selling it off. New family member will be joining soon. Not immediately but better to start plannning now than later.

Ahgong Supercharged September 26, 2014 Share September 26, 2014 one is gearbox problem, overhaul cost 3k and 15 days, change brand new 8k another manual clutch problem and ratiator choke, temperature high... looks like you got lemon cars. what models? could it be a model issue? or the year of manufacture for that particular model? i driving 9 year old kim chi, still running strong leh. only had secondary clutch-pump replaced due to wear and tear. the rest of the stuff like timing belts, filters, are all part of the maintenance wear and tear changes. so far so good.
