think you need to charge every 1 to 2 days? and it's not water resistant if i'm not wrong

Yea laa, it discharge from his hand daily wat.... -_-

Anyway, Pebble still make most sense to me. Too troublesome to charge everyday.

Aesthetic wise, I prefer MOTO most.

haha. The CEO of Guess Watches writes to Tim Cook to welcome Apple to the wearables market. There's always been tons of naysayers when Apple introduces but many people have learnt not to bet against the company when it comes to consumer electronics.

Good touch by her and also the plug she makes for her own upcoming smart watches [thumbsup]

probably hold on to my fitbit for another year and then wait for the second iteration of apple watch. that way, they can work out the kinks.

but then again, if i walk by and im attracted, maybe i'll just pick it up. i have a pair of BT headphones and it means i can run without carrying a phone ...

China power :D Fake Apple Watches already selling at CES for $27/- haha

It will likely be at least two months before the highly anticipated Apple Watch hits shelves, but at least one company has already made a knockoff.

In the back of one of the smaller halls at CES, a Chinese company was showing off fake Apple Watches. So, naturally, I bought one.

i saw. still not sure what to do. my fitbit broke 2 weeks ago, so am thinking of either:

1. getting the fitbit charge HR (same replacement as my prev fitbit, but with HR)

2. jawbone up3 (since the bioimpedence is more accurate than light sensor for HR)

3. wait for apple watch and see what they are doing (but it'll be bulky and i dont really need a watch that big on my other hand)

right now, #2 is winning :P

i thought CES is for innovative companies to showcase their products [sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

maybe this is their idea of innovation. They shrunk a 300$ product to 1/10th its price....

(without comparing features or quality.)

As an iOS user, I would still wait and see what #3 brings. But... starting prices for the basic watch is ~350/- and the Watch Sport edition is more...

So for 100 bucks, #2 looks good.

#1 is US$140

#2 is US$180 ;)

#3 starts at US$350 like you said.

but i still wear a normal watch on my left hand, so at least the trackers wont look out of place on my right hand.

Funny story...

I have a friend who used to wear two watches on his left hand. Same time zones... just one face up and the other down. When we asked him how come... he said he was so busy, he wanted to know what the time was whichever way his hand was placed [hur]

Another friend than quipped... "so which ever way your hand is placed, one watch is going to get scratched" [:p]
