Nzy Twincharged September 4, 2014 Share September 4, 2014 If not our fault also kena jail? Like for example pedestrian suddenly cross and no time to brake? Yes. Still driver's fault. Cuz supposed to slow down when there are hazards. A person standing by the road waiting to cross the road, we should slow down. If slow down but still hit the person, its less likely the person would die.

Nolicense Turbocharged September 4, 2014 Share September 4, 2014 What happen if like the taxi who hit the primary girl dashing across the road? statute law can give no room for alternative interpretation. judges got no discretion or no brains/balls to question bad law. if law says driver wrong, even if not wrong, still have to be guilty under the law. Yar, but with exception to certain class... It was in the news many years back. An amdk knock a pedestrian crossing a road in front of Alexandra Hospital. He/She claims it was a very poorly lit road, judge did a site survey, and he/she won the case and go scot free.

LOL anyway judges are never hands on. always hear lawyer argument and then that's it. if can bother to go out of court is damn power liao. which civil servant of what board even bother to go outside office for jobs like that normally? even if subject to personal eye power of the judge, which judge dare to say his eye power represents a normal person's eye power and deem the road is poorly lit and head lights cannot spot pedestrian crossing? why no argument say if cannot see so far why drive so fast? again failed to keep proper look out mah.
