Logged on the SingTel webpage @1500 hrs, to book appt for iphone 6 plus, but failed to submit my booking in time and got the following msg before I could click on the submit button.

 

Thank you for your interest Thank you for your overwhelming support for the iPhone 6 Plus with SingTel. All appointment slots for the event are now fully booked.

WTH!! Less than 2 mins, all slots fully booked for iphone 6 plus.

 

Quickly switch to iPhone 6 Booking and mannaged to secure a Silver iphone 6 (64 gb). Immediately after that, I tried to book another iphone 6, and got he same msg that all slots for had been fully booked.

 

Just received a sms 5 mins ago from SingTel informing me that my iphone 6 Appt Booking of 64 GB Silver has been confirmed on 21 Sep at MBS.

A locked iPhone (not to be confused with iCloud locked) is a phone that's tied to a telecom carrier. For example in US, the iPhones sold there are locked to carrier provider. So they will have problems travelling overseas swapping to a local pre-paid sim card. Luckily in Singapore, all iPhones sold here are unlocked - can use whatever carrier you choose, put whatever sim card you prefer.

Apple shops and authorised dealers will have long queue, but i reckon they all have limited stock.

yeah.... some people will kpkb again that they are forced into buying overpriced SP and casing in order to buy the phone. :D

Ya. I meant icloud locked. Some shops or buyers do accept. Seems like they have their own way to go around it but they offer very low price for these iphones. Seen many websites with tutorials on how to unlock those icloud locked phones as well.

Lol. So many people doing this. Got 2 buyers for my iphone 6+ already. Profits will go to buying my Note 4 when it is out.

Not yet but in terms of specs it went backwards (eg, non Full HD screen, let alone QHD) and price is ex!! Don't know what they thinking...such a waste!
