U dun need a battalion or platoon to conduct a road block in an estate. The problem or troublesome is escorting drivers to HQ and impounding the vehicles. 

Talk about no resource, the irony is, authority can pay a few cisco guys to assist when there is construction on the road.

In the recent operation, TP did 100% check on drivers.

This is the correct way

This causes a long q along expressway. This news will go viral very fast.

That’s why need a battalion to set up road block everywhere on this island.

The recent operation was to create a hoo ha and allowed media to broadcast not to drink n drive, "we are working".

Depending on situation, auxiliary police can assist TP by inspecting car, directing traffic, etc and arrest for further investigation by the police.

Basically wayang exercise la.

I stand corrected, out of a single month at most I only see 1 or 2 TPs on patrol, and I drive frequently in town area.
