Time for me to buy a airbrush and compressor set for my scale model hobby. Any of you guys knows where to buy one and any particular set is good?

A good recommendation is the Sparmax TC-610H (http://www.sparmaxair.com/product_detail.php?id=1&r=7).

 

40-60 PSI with 2.5L air tank. I haven't gotten it yet, but a group of modelling enthusiasts recommended to me.

 

I've already booked my order with a hobby shop at Ubi area (don't know if saying it is advertisement though), and waiting for the stock to be in, but you can find it at a few hobby shops. Pre-order price was $338 if I remember correctly (with 0.3mm airbrush I think), but recently saw another shop at Bras Basah shopping centre selling at $420 (Comp + AB).

 

May I ask what type of modelling are you doing?

Thing is there's not much shop selling scale models now. Lol. There's a few in sunshine plaza though. Just want to find out which brand or model is reliable.

Paya Lebar there got this Tamiya shop that sells lotsa Tamiya models.. you may want to check them out..

Ya. I frequent stargek for my paint supplies. Their stuffs are not cheap compare to online stores + shipping. saw their compressor which is 200 plus without air brush and power adaptor.

PM-ed you liao.. Heard from the boss the stocks are in already, they're going to open container and sort everything by mid next week..

 

Me just Gundam / Gunpla and one or two air plane (old ones).. Now only Gundam / pla..

 

Which series you building? I'm doing SEED / Destiny, have one MG Red Frame and Shin Musha coming in..
