It will kill the government's cash cow why cant they do away with the bidding.. do like hbd balloting.. if got it it is non transferable and must register car under the name and must return back to LTA if don't want to drive. of cos the consequences is ppl with coe will rent the car and make money. so there must be enforcement and caught will result in no able to go for balloting for life. financing rules stays, down 50% and balance in 5years. bottom line is they want to make money. 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

By then, my younger kid should be past secondary school. No need car anymore. Meanwhile, aiming to renew in early 2016, expire early 2021. By then , 1 in Pri 6, 1 in Sec 2. After that, i may not have any more personal reserves to rob from. Unless there is a crash for 2020 handover + help from ERP2. hold your horses ... $20K COE for xmas? ... muahahahaha Year-end bumper crop of COEs expected I hate it when they toy with my emotions. Current system is like 3 mth bidding + 1 mth delivery = 4 mth, to get a car. Weekly bidding system would be a win for LTA, AD and buyers. I don't think is how frequent you run it but rather how much is there for you to run for. you can have it every day but the fact is there is only so much for you to run for.
