For Singaporeans, it doesn't matter where - as long as you took weed and tested positive, you will be charged. Want to play also must know the boundaries.

In Singapore, holding more than 15g of pure cannibis already considered trafficking, no need any additional evidence of trafficking. This is how strict Singapore is. But it carries a heavy prison sentence, not death sentence until 500g.

 

 

 

Some of the drug laws in Singapore are more than a little ridiculous - for instance, if you smoke some weed in Amsterdam (without bringing any back, of course), you will kena if they pull you over for a drug test. Consuming drugs even outside the jurisdiction of Singapore is illegal.

 

I mean - why would they care what you do outside SG so long as you keep it outside? There's a similar law regarding child prostitution, but at least that's justifiable because there's an innocent party being protected. With the drug law, on the other hand, it's not at all clear whom or what they're protecting, other than the ridiculously draconian reputation of the country.

This law I agree with whether the US or Singapore does it(protects the innocent).

 

 

For Singaporeans, keep in mind it doesn't matter where you smoke it. If tested positive by CNB, you are still charged and convicted for consumption.

This law I don't - protects f**k all as far as I can see.

Like I always recommend, write to your MP. Let him/her do some work for you, but I doubt anyone will have the balls to reverse this law.
