Is the Signal System in our car faulty ?

What we need is auto signal installed/build into the car. When turning the steering automatically it will show the signal.

 

 

It's not that ppl are having a problem with the left hand signal. It's just that some mofo use their left hand to hold their hp and read text messages. If their left hand is occupied how are they going to signal?

More likely these people have never drive manual before if not why they can't use left signal?

I am wondering, for those drivers who don't signal because everytime they signal will have cars accelerating to block them from lane change, is it because the space they are changing to is also very small. Because if everytime also got cars blocking them then wouldn't it means that they are mis-judging the space available for them to change to.

 

If there is lots of space, then unless the lane change is done in slow motion, it shouldn't be that easy for other cars to block them.

 

Just thinking aloud. And yes I detest drivers who don't signal.

I honestly encounter so many times I turn on signal but the car behind speed up to close the gap..

 

so I turned to the dark side a little bit by cutting in a bit first then turn on my signal..

 

try it. you will find that sgp drivers are more courtesy this way.. because they didn't have time to intentionally to block you off..

Haha....yes, I do that most of the time. I cut in first then signal. Of course must ensure there is at least a car length's space first lah....once cut-in the behind car will tail behind you at your cruising speed.

 

However, the problem is : half of the time after I cut in, I forgot to switch on my signal.... and just drive on.

That is what I told my wife whenever saw cars turn / lane changing without signalling... AD should put signal light as optional.. Its a premium accesories.. Same thing happen across the causeway...

Wahhh so many reasons for not using signal lights ... don't teach me the wrong things leh ...

 

anyway my main complaint is at traffic light when the lane can go straight or turn right, some drivers when turning right just didn't think to use the signal light, thereby causing those behind him to kenna stuck.

The bledi car stop at 2nd lane no signal. 1st lane empty sumore. Light turns green, car never move. So i gave a friendly honk thinking driver must be sleepy or playing with hp. Still never move. This kuku driver confirm turning right so i overtake and so did the rest behind me...... WATS WRONG WITH THESE PPL??....

This type not so bang balls lar. Benefit of doubt the driver had sudden heart attack and is immobilised.

Those that after you tap the horn, then their signal light suddenly starts blinking are the most bang balls wan.

i had no problem in right and left signal

 

 

for once my family own a japs car and a german car, i drive both and no problem with signalling.

my left hand holding girl friend hand, normally drive with 1 hand so cannot use left hand signal

 

not everyone like you so smart woh, left and right signal also can

in today ST, apparently more are being fined for not signalling..It is just a drop in the ocean. Saw that it numbered about 600?

 

Then again road hoggers have decreased. MAybe all give up stay home

I actually don't care if the guy is about 1.5 or more car lengths ahead and (provided I am not gaining fast) come into my lane without signal as long as he accelerates away.

 

It is damn hell of a lot better than signaling and barging in without accelerating and make me waste fuel/brake pad/rotor and then road hogging.
