Unclear bro.

Juventus without selling might not be able to agree wage structure with Monaco. Valencia want Llorente and Juve is thinking to sell him to make funds for Falcao. 10m loan + 32m to buy.

Falcao wants to leave 100%. Pool looking for a striker 100%. But 1+1 is still not making 2 yet.

Saw Llorente at national stadium on sat n IMO he's not sharp n can't even get past our CBs. That said he scored quite a few goals for Juve last season but I can see why Juve wants another striker! But they hv Tevez though.

darn, if di maria leaves, that mean falco can go RM????

is manure doing all this in purpose to spoil our transfer..... [mad]

Sorry bro, please see my updated post.

Sale of Di Maria might ease them from FFP restriction but they might not be going back for Falcao as Benzema has signed extension

Two more targets remain for Arsenal: Rabiot and Manolas.

Looks like a good window for Gunners if they get them

Not you bro, I am the one confused lol.

Anyway, this report seems to have a good account on what's ongoing with Falcao and Eto'o

http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/500003/Rodgers-still-wants-Falcao-and-WILL-sign-a-new-striker-at-Liverpool

Two very interesting info just received:

1) Arnold Oosterveer, agent of Huntelaar, has made contact with Liverpool Football Club in the last few days.

2) Someone shared that Ayre was on the same flight as him from Manchester to Amsterdam.

Coincidence?

Lol I believe they are working on multiple targets. Some are of higher preference then others. Expect this to drag on. Don't mind that if it means we get the right striker in.

I am lagi confused too :D

Anyway, as long as they can get a world-class striker before 31st Aug, that will be a good news for Pool :)

Marcos Rojo on ARG Radio Continental just now: 'It feels like a dream, to be a ManUtd player. Leaving Sporting wasn't easy.'

Congrats Man U.

Interesting to note that whilst Arsenal decided to rest their 3 German stars, Chelsea played Schurrle right from the start of their match vs Burnley and he rewarded them with a goal!

Wenger is a scientific manager so he subscribes to the modern thinking of players getting burnt out if not enough rest. Not sure about JM and also the continental theory of mid-season break has always been at the forefront of theories when England fail at the WC. I suppose time will tell which method is correct as we'll see how Schurrle vs Ozil & gang fare in the 2nd half of the season!

Wenger need to prepare for a midweek game but not Jose. Maybe that's why Wenger took a more cautious approach.

besides the mid week game that O23 says, if i rem correctly, schurrle was not played much by chelsea last season 15 games started and 15 subs.. he also came back 1 week earlier for pre season training

Point taken on the mid-week game but Wenger himself actually didn't want to consider the 3 Germans for tonite as well but with Kocielney out, he may have to put in Mertasacker so I don't think the midweek game was the reason.

At the WC, Ozil played most but Mertasacker/Schurrle more or less same and Podolski hardly played.

Not to mention Chelsea had 2 Brazilians (Ramires was suspended) who were involved in last night's match as was Vlaar for Villa at the weekend, likewise Arguero and Zabaletta for City.

Point I'm trying to make is that Argentina, Brazil, Holland and Germany finished the WC at the same time. Except for Arsenal, all the other players were in contention for the 1st round of EPL games.

Is Wenger right with his theory or are the other Managers just to complacent about burnt-out? No right nor wrong but interesting IMO and don't forget when Wenger first came to EPL, he was the first IIRC to question players diets and was revolutionary in this aspect so he could just be right again!!
