That's why player follow owner... money want many many...

Why should henry be angry, he did admit there was a release clause of $40m

上梁不正 下梁歪

There isn't a release clause how to admit? The clause is Suarez must be informed of any bid for him which is above £40m and we did.

£40m+1 is certainly too far from Suarez valuation. We know is true value and hence find it insulting over that bid. Don't try to lowball us as low balling is our forte. :D That's why Henry was angry.

You also said it is right for players to get the most out of their playing career, so why now suddenly become 歪?

Anyway, good learning value for you guys on Sterling too. When Oxy becomes a hot property, Ward will chut pattern liao

Liverpool have had an opening offering for Ashley Williams rejected

Someone just refuses to give up.

Can we just cast our sight out of the British soil???

Sorry guys, this is from someone I trust but it was meant to be a joke which I failed to catch. My apology for causing more distress to a bad day we already starting with.

haha. gd one.

but this joke showcases the inability of BR in attracting the type of talents which can improve the club from where it is today.

i dun think he is that tactically unsound. but the vicious cycle is that he can't attract the right players to play football his way and then he tried to and fro in adapting the tactics to the players (plus new players he can eventually grab). at the end of the day, he leaves himself, the players and the fans totally confused about his ways. that's the most frustrating part for me.

think he would likely get another season to prove his tactical abilities. but we need someone else to drive the players' recruitment and has the attracting powers to do so. if not, I dun see the right players being bought in this summer again and BR will have a tall mountain to climb in shaping the club forward. Likely he would accept that he needs to go then.

This is not true? As for ox, it seems he is one of the players that really love Arsenal based on what ex players are saying...not sure how it will turn out

Having huge issue with this mirror article.

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-open-transfer-inter-milan-5736619

If we can replacing the commitment and experience of Lucas with someone better, I might support this.

But no, BR is saying Lucas can go because Allen can offer more as a DM. Allen is never a DM. Lucas, barring Can, is the best we have in that role.

Midfield trio of Hendo-Allen-Milner will give you dynamism but I am not sure of the balance. Never seen Milner played as a CM by Man City, so I am not sure if he fits that role. A better balance in my opinion is Hendo-Can-Allen. If can sign a DM, Hendo-DM-Can will even be better

Not sure why he said that but think about it. If it is a release clause, can Liverpool just say no and the agent just kept quiet and not fight for it? A release clause has to be honoured.

The £75m release clause is there for Barcelona to trigger after Suarez signed a new contract in Dec 2013. Hence we can't stop it from happening.

During the sega, the agent of Suarez threatened to sue but after consulting the lawyers on the clause, they didn't proceed because they know they didn't have a case.

My understanding is uk law prohibit release clause so even if there is... in court of law likely not valid... can sue butwhen judgement reach I think following season over liao

Moreover suarez was offered a new contract to remove the clause thus I believe it is a 50/50 thing so to play safe pool offered suarez a new contract that remove this clause

No bro, this article can shed some light. The clause was examined by PFA and BPL as well.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sports/football/article-2386551/Luis-Suarez-contract--40m-release-clause.html

UK law prohibits buy-out clause, not release clause. Meaning players cannot buy out their contracts as and when they like. But under FIFA provision, players above 24 can buy out the last year of theirs. Release clause basically states a player can be bought at this agreed amount as stated in the contract. This is legally binding. So Suarez' extension in Dec is not to remove any clause, but to have clarity on the release clause.

Found this article, supposedly suarez clause was a good faith release clause whatever that means... lol

But confirm not buy out clause because buy out clause just pay the remaining contract value can liao...

Anyway interested to see how Sterling situation turn out... i see the similarities in this as with the Suarez situation but without the clause issue

this sentence is absurd: "The Ulsterman feels that while Lucas is a fine tackler and can break up the opposition's play, he offers his Reds little going forward."

so he only think abt attack?? nvr think abt defence?? no wonder pool cant defend for shit!

This is the pull of Barcelona.

Player don't mind sitting out for 6 months

Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan (24) could join Barcelona this summer but only start playing in January, when transfer ban ends. [md]

Just to clarify on the transfer ban Barcelona facing. It does not prohibit them from signing players but the new player cannot be registered for the club to play for them.

David de Gea has been issued a 'now or never' ultimatum by Real Madrid - similar to the one that turned the head of Gareth Bale before his €100 million move to the Bernabeu.

De Gea, with only one year left on his contract has been told that the capital side will begin to consider other targets in the market who they feel could replace Iker Casillas in the long term.

Gerrard vs Casillas

2 legends at their own club; 2 different treatment

http://www.sbnation.com/soccer/2015/5/21/8633415/iker-casillas-real-madrid-transfers?

If you are talking about the fans, then yes Pool fans 1000 times better than RM fans who are spoilt and come from the upper class I understand. No way to treat a club legend [thumbsdown]

That said, Casillas has outstayed his welcome. His high standards have dropped but unlike some legends who know when to bow out, he still insists on carrying on which has some bearing on why the fans start to turn on him. He has so much clout that most of the RM Managers are scared to drop him except JM. And see what happened to JM?

The trouble with most legends is that they get carried away thinking that what they achieved in the past gives them automatic right to be a part of the club for eternity but football esp in its modern form has no time for has beens and thus I always respect those legends who know when to walk away when father time comes calling [thumbsup]

This Mirror article claims that Pool have nothing to worry over Sterling and used the Suarez case as an example of how the club standing firm got an extra year out of Suarez and yet a high fee when it was time to part company.

Admittedly, Pool did well on all accounts in the Suarez situation but IMO, the RS case is different and they should part company if the price is right. RS heart is not at Pool anymore and standing firm and insisting he sees out his contract serves no purpose. Pool may think RS has a lot to lose if he were to see out his contract at the current pay but my take is Pool has even more to lose if his performances on the field are half hearted and other indirect knock-ons like being a disruptive influence in the dressing room etc .....my 2 cents.
