Public must accept rise in hawker food prices

suck thumb one ley this kind of thing. If all pakat to increase price, u still will eat right.

 

Like coffee/tea prices, say wat sugar up price la, CNY la....it only goes up. Never down. All kopitiam pakat to increase what can we do? pay and kpkb but in the end still must eat la.

Never ever eat at Chinatown hawker ctre Zhi Char, especially those clam order, I mean clam are pretty cheap stuff while some stalls are tight on moving plates of foods, due to poor coordination and communication, thy never even tell you that one has to wait at least half an hour.

 

A miserable plate of spicy clam cost $10/, sounds reasonable, but most shell were empty of clams and few strand of gingers, onion, starchy sauce and unhealthy to go with rice.... How to accept hawker foods prices, I am not Wong Ah Yoke and do not intent to criticise them for lack of passion, however this particular store lacks honesty and enthusiasm .

 

I can accept $13.oo plate of 'Song fish head " cooked in various way, but never ever order Clam from a standalone stall.

 

Another hawker stall in AMK Ave 4 hawker stall cum wet market, two men were smoking at shady tree, while taking a short break, ( can comprehend ) but once customer appeared, thy quickly kill the ciggies and go serve em, WITHOUT washing their hands, can one imagine the nicotine stained on the fingers can contaminate the foods & her mouth stink always.

 

Not forgetting shopping ctre Make-up gals, thy go smoke break / back without washing or guzzling with listerine, all their hands and mouth were stained with nicotine smells, my wife questioned them did thy smoked earlier, all thy could matters was, " I'm sorry ! " Not juz hawker Ctre, Tis is high end Orchard Rd shopping belts.

 

Food hygiene can be hazarous to every customers no matter how delicious foods one can wipe out but I will not patronise them anymore.

 

Why should I be accepting hawker food prices, our standard and personal hygiene needs more tender loving care for secondary smoke inhaled by smokers, I have nothing against smokers but please be conscious of your surrounding and customers around you if you're in service line, not necessary hawker ctre alone.
