I for one dont believe decent players can become lousy players overnight. A good manager should be able to play to the player's strength, formulate a system to cover the weakness of the team and exploit opposing team's weakness to win matches.

Can see that all Bros were disappointed with the team selection and performance. lets spend more quality time with family X mas coming.

Time will take care of BR. [rifle]

...........disappointed is an understatement lor,.....and cannot wait liao lor, lausai still can wait meh ? :D

he did not even mention anything about the 2nd goal by VP seemed offside and outcome of the game might have had a different result if disallowed.

....he must be suffering from retina pigmentosa <_<

Rubbish... might as well say if Sterling scores then Man U wont score the 1st goal...

Its true Valencia made minced meat out of the Welsh Xavi...

Coutinho was tracking Rooney and for unknown reasons, stop following... SG was playing defensive mid and also drifted wide despite hvg Moreno n Allen chasing Valencia...

If they tracked Rooney and deny him the chance to shoot then there is no goal...

Our midfield gifted the goal to Rooney

I heard from commentary we have a league cup in mid week?? Don't tell me he is resting them for league cup.

perhaps. but what sort of signals is the manager sending to the team when he dropped two players who have been performing well? [confused] i am terribly disappointed that the manager has failed to realise the intense rivalry between the two clubs. [:|]

Origi must be sweating now. He might well end up playing in Championship next season. Must be thinking, wtf had i done??

That could well be the reason why BR could b sacked

Imagine if we have to release our players if relegated... the amount of payout or loss in transfer value will far outweigh BR's compensation.

If I am BR, I will go for compensation as its hard to reach last season's level... if he gets a gd payout.... he can retire young....

Base on Br, SG is not defensive mid leh.

based on br => we need to play SG, we need not defend because we have possession and opponents cannot score, we can score with no creative mf in a must win UCL game, we go into a must win match w/o a recognised striker and yet no DM in the team.

based on the above BR needs to go

I might be flamed but would like to offer some perspective on how d gamed developed.

When was d last time we saw such urgency from d players chasing for d balls whenever we lost possession of it? I think they did it for almost 70% of d time. And not forgetting they played a midweek ucl agst basel. I was praying they cn sustain n must say it was quite a courageous display from d lads.

When was d last time we had at least 8 or 12 shots either on target or missesmisses? I watched d game n noticed that our shots lacked d extra height or wicked curve to mk de gea pick d ball fr his net. In recent seasons, except for d last, I do nt recall us having taking shots that many.

In comparison to manu's players, we seem more technically gifted. Able to control d first touch better even when some passes made by own teammates were strong ones. Our players were more mobile in d midfield. We also put bodies near to d box, which were lacking in this season.

Suarez is a playmaker n finisher. He runs n creates opportunities for d rest. Our player body language nds to improve. When running with d ball or rather before shooting, dun hesitate. Balo hesitated on one occasion n his next move was read by d opponent.

I agree lallana shld nt have been removed. Coutinho played better in d second half.

Can we c Henderson play at d central park?

Mixed feelings for Jones. He showed immaturity for diving too easily but then again, we nd to know hw tough to stretch across d goalpost. Think it was a gamble he took wrongly.

BR? He has to Be Responsible for d results. Shld he stay or go? If he can generate today's enthusiasm agn for d remaining fixtures, we should win-loss-draw with pride. Bec I really saw d lads trying very hard, even when down with 1-2-3 goals. If we were nt threatening, would so many manu players have received yellow cards.

Imo, I like d speed how they want to get into d box n for trying some long shots. They did nt seem conservative n not forgetting, it is nvr essy to recover from ucl n play a top team over d weekend.

I hope for more such courageous displays. And, I am nt a non-Liverpool fan in disguise. I am a true YNWA lad...my humble sharing.

Almost all fans can see how naive the tactics deployed by BR... I won't be surprised if there is an unrest in the dressing room on him....

FSG didn't come out saying anything on BR.. Maybe they are trying to negotiate a sacking package for BR...

I am secretly hoping for this...

We are fuming and sad now...

This season is a disaster season ....

Whether BR stays or not, I will leave it to FSG...

Knowing the Americans, they probably been reading CVs from the day BR was appointed and ready to replace him anytime.

Klopp been always linked. Rafa's family probably still live in Liverpool. Simeone and F De Boer are recent speculations.

Yes. The players tried hard n show glimpses of the high pressing of last season in the opening 11 minutes... thats a gd sign but I do sense a tinge of desparation in their body language... rushing things n a bit nervous instead of calm and composed manner of Liverpool style. Toure and Lucas might have provided the calming effect instead of displacing Hendo n Johnson plus starting Allen.

Scoring goal is sometime an art.. That's why goal scorer worth a lot. But defending is a skill that can be developed. That is why everyone faulting BR rather then the player.

While the overall team energy is there.. But is it because of BR motivation or was it because we are playing Man U.

The fact is we did not control the game... despite the possession

BR needs to understand that Possession does not 100% equate to Control...

I will pick rafa followed by Simone. The only person I will not even consider is AVB. I think he is the same as the best man for the job. Another thing is both used to be related to Jose Morinho. They think they can be like special one but I doubt JM has teach them anything good other than being arrogant and full of themselves. JM is smart and he keep his best to himself.
