Btw Everton just lost 3-0 away to Swansea for this cup too...and is back to back lost, so they are on unleashed anger. Need to be more wary of them. Arsenal too lost to Saints at home.

Thanks bro :))

BR has just DEFENDED unker [dizzy][dizzy][dizzy] to moye bad times [knife]

http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/sep/23/brendan-rodgers-defends-liverpool-captain-steven-gerrard

Brendan Rodgers has defended his captain Steven Gerrard, insisting he has “no concerns whatsoever” over his performances this season.

.

.

.

But, asked before Tuesday’s Capital One Cup third-round home game against Middlesbrough whether he had any concerns about the standard of Gerrard’s display against West Ham, the Liverpool manager said: “No concerns whatsoever, no. He is a brilliant player for us, really talented. It was a team performance overall that just wasn’t quite up to scratch.”

.

.

He added: “I feel we have managed his recovery really well in the last two seasons. Even when Steven was playing international football, I think if you look at his numbers and games and minutes he has played, you’ll see in the last couple of seasons that it is as good as it has been in his career.

“He is obviously at the age where we will look at him individually as a player. We want him to be involved in our big games because of his experiences and his talent, and we’ll always taper that recovery for him to allow him to be at the very best he can be.”

that's it guys, BR wants to achieve mid-table this season [hur]

This might be good news though. If you recall, when BR sings praises on a particular player, something will happen? [sly]

Yeah should give Sterling the next 2 days off.

He was really tired at the end and thats why he missed

his penalty.

Well overall a good exposure for our young players. A valuable experience for our kids. Hope BR and team can uncover and promote 1 or 2 kids into the senior team and from them bring some spark into our weekend matches.

Uncle Stevie, well let not slant him too much. No rest in between season. I am sure he will come good in Nov, Dec. This always has been the case for Stevie in his career with Liverpool. Slow starter every season and shift into gear only on Nov onward. We need him even more after liu s departure. Tell me except Stirling who is our star player or player that the team look upon when in trouble. What BR need to do is find another position for uncle. I suggest push him up into attack and lighten his defending duty. He might be slow physically but the instinct to open up the defence and goal still there.

Cardiff did badly because they appointed Solskjaer!

Now, that babyface had been fired, but what took Vincent so long?

The reason Vincent took so long is

he hired him and said he was so much better

than Malky Mackay.

Now Vincent looks like the idiot he is.

today's game shows that lucas is not as bad as his performances have shown. if anything, it actually showed that gerrard is the one who makes him play badly. to me he did quite well against boro, playing his own game n not b worried abt accommodating gerrard. but of cos we know rodgers wont acknowledge this n will gladly drop lucas instead of gerrard.

rossiter also did well...but i saw mostly safe balls from him. whenever he gets the ball, he will play it safe n pass to the nearest teammates. but still, he was composed n made no mistake. overall gd debut.

Did anyone realised that after SAF left Man U, everyone associated with Man U is somehow jinxed?

RVP, Rooney suddenly can't score, Giggs didn't do well as interim mgr, Solskjaer didn't do well with Cardiff, David Moyes can't make it, and now LvG seems to suffer same destiny.

Maybe SAF put a Scottish curse on them?
