Sabotage from Exec

Any bros here in account servicing?

 

I many many times ask the CLIENT exec for information, even to the stage of offering to go down to their place to collect.

They say cannot, don't have, don't disturb. My performance suffers because of lack of info

 

Now waiting to renew contract. I can see the client side exec acting on and using the exact info I asked for, and taught them to use which is making me look compartively bad (because now performance is better than I was achieving)

 

Cannot "accuse" and start war - I will be on the losing end confirmed (who wants a vendor that stirs shit?) - but I feel like I have been sabotaged

1. I was engaged by client to do a job

2. To do a better job, I ask for info - client exec say don't have

3. I offer to go to their place and collect

4. She say cannot

5. My services suspended pending review

6. During the break - exec is using the same info she say don't have

7. Performance has gone up making exec look good and me look bad

8. She backstabbed and sabotaged me (she was on a three month contract, and I think has done this to "replace" me with herself)

9. I want revenge!!

you have to be very careful if you want to execute point 9. the market is very small here.

Not that she is the only one that has - she is my point of contact in the company - to get the info either meant going to the person who hired me first (she is on Baby Leave) or go to the big boss - either way, I make a reputation for myself as a troublemaker and a whiner

you have to be very careful if you want to execute point 9. the market is very small here.

This type of shit happens everywhere and sometimes is the management's decision.

 

And based on the information I have so far, if that she is on 3 months contract, management asked her whether she can replace you/your services.

If yes, she gets a full time job, company removing the requirements for third party services.

She is the one that "approves" the actions I take, and to visit the site, would have to liaise thru her - so she say no, the option is to go over her head - which is not palatable and would cause a huge squabble - so I might win the battle but most likely lose the war - and get a reputation I don't want into the process

EXCEPT - I think it is HER strategy to go to management and say "hey - see, I can do a better job than him"

 

The thing that annoys me most - I taught her what works, and how to do it. She then "plotted" by denying me the info, only to use it when I not around

 

If I lose out to someone better - thems the breaks

 

If I lose out to someone sneakier, after I help to educate them - that farks me off

Sad thing is - there is nowhere to escalate to - if there was a reporting structure, I would have used it.

Her bosses were cc in the mails I sent -

I CAN escalate - by calling the boss

But what do you say?

To make this sort of accusation - is not worth the shit storm. I have business with other depts, that would be jeopardised by such an accusation, and then I can still salvage the situation when the boss that hired me comes back from Baby leave.

 

So for now - lay low, when I meet with the manager again in person, then I will be KPKB to her (or at least - pointing out how good the info is, and how I suggested it in the first place)

Yep - in person meeting with her supervisor coming up - I will have a report proving how the info is good - as well as a review showing how I asked for this sort of info before and was turned down.
