Volvobrick Supersonic May 7, 2017 Share May 7, 2017 To me it's VR or nothing. Pic credit to the owners in OZ and Japan. I had wanted this but the turning radius is more than 13m! Worse than a truck! Probably would be stuck in some of carpark ramps.

Xia0taizi 1st Gear July 12, 2017 Share July 12, 2017 hi all, i'm eyeing an s60 T2, due to its cheaper cost relative to the T5. does anyone own one? i would like to ask: 1) what is your FC like? and your % highway % city. 2) anyone drive the T2 to north south highway? does it run out of "breath" when you run at 120kmh, and when you need to go beyond that (for overtaking of course )? thank you!
Soya Supersonic July 13, 2017 Share July 13, 2017 Nowadays, new Volvo cars horses all tune down. Like no horses. I still prefer the oldies... S60T5 S40T5 Yalor. Last time T4/T5/T6 meant performance and was a badge of honour
kykh Supercharged July 23, 2017 Share July 23, 2017 S60 T2 @ $143k, T5 @ $155k, D4 @ $150k. V60 T2 @ $155k & T5 CC $180k. My colleague just collected his S60 T2 a couple of weeks ago for $130K. He commented that the price quotes could be rather different among SEs, as one quoted him $130K, while another $135K, all other things being equal.

T4 FC is about 10.2l/100km. 70% highway and 30% city.
LoverofCar 6th Gear August 2, 2017 Share August 2, 2017 T5 drive 245hp lacking in horses ah? Some say its because no drama too smooth the acceleration Haha...that depend very much on the driver. If not careful and try to jio one....might be in for a surprise.

I highly doubt so that it would be fast. But many consider 6.1 sec fast enough. So , yes, if you in a sonata and jio a T5, you be very impress. fiatuno Clutched May 18, 2018 Share May 18, 2018 T2 is less powerful but still picks up better than my old Camry 2.4 because of the better low RPM torque. For me T2 is good enough for our local city driving. You should test drive to judge for yourself. Good luck!Hi, I’m contemplating btw the T2 and paying another $13k extra for the T5. Seen a few comments that the T2 is underpowered but it felt ok for me and for our local roads and traffic conditions though. T5 was definitely a lot way more powerful! But except for the quick start off the line (which is shiok!!!) im not sure whether I should plonk down this extra $. Also can’t really speed nowadays with all the speed traps and cameras around... And If I want to sell it later I think whether T5 value would probably end up the same as T2... badge wise for the undecented they probably would just it as a Volvo regardless of whether it’s T2 or T5. Any thoughts and inputs would be appreciated. Thank you!
