Nissan NV200. looks wide enough for 3 in a row.

Or Renault Kangoo (and the likes) ? 2 rear, 1 front but must make sure front airbag can disengage.

so u off the front airbags ah? actually not recommended to sit kids in front as crash impact is the most for front passengers. no front airbags = less protection from whiplash

Actually with kids on booster seats, does this apply?

Airbags not off. They are no longer toddlers and are above 1.2 m

Understand the concern on air bags and young children is more on the impact to the chest area.

=<1.2m req booster seat should be more for whiplash concerns, to avoid the belt from pressing agianst the neck.

Swift's (car that cant disengage airbag) manual does indicate that if have young in front with booster seat, should still move the front seat as rearward as possible so as to avoid injury to the chest when airbag is deployed.

Not advsiable to have child in front as in the event of emergency, instinct is to for driver to move himself from direct impact. This may mean that the position of direct impact gets shifted to the front passenger.

You mean private passenger van or commercial registered van?

Should be private I guess?

Passenger van would allow ready access to child seats.

PUtting 2 child seats in the rear already makes access very very hard unless you have the huge mpv.

That's why I also think the London can design is perfect too.
