Neutral Newbie

Driving fast safe slow dangerous etc is very subjective so let's not go there.

Cause from my understanding and from users of extreme performance tyres, bridgestone n Yokohamas are border then their actual size. Not sure about kumho so I was assuming that re-11s n AD08s 205 could be ku36s 215. Just a guess, and although I don't believe +- 5-10mm will be any difference IN THEIR DIFFERENCE, my fenders have be rolled and my ride heights adjusted so many times already, I just wanna double confirm so as to avoid any unnecessary extra suspension adjustments.

Nowadays so many dishonest people doing business. Who knows exactly what we are really buying lol.

Yes.. Its like one side broader.

I rolled my fender after using the tires. Lol

I read your last sentence a few times but am still unsuccessful in understanding what you mean. Lol

Dishonest as in selling lower grade stuff trying to pass of as the original to less than knowledgeable customers.

Anyways back to the tyres. So you think and prefer re-11s. Why ah?

tried the re11 very firm grip on dry with low noise

tried fren car with ad08 also frim but with free loud music

and micehlin ps3 just little loose out but very quite

now Michelin super sport best so far with lower noise compare to re11

please don't take my POV for all car .

most car or driver don't need this top sporty tyres

for Michelin for most car energy xm2 or higher grade primacy3ST /ps3 /ps3ST will be too good for most car

bs I will say ecopia ? ep200 or gr100 very good , performance will re002 very good liao

PS3 is not in the same league as AD08 n RE-11.

Yes you are right, most drivers n cars do not need these kinda tyres. Well thats if everybody drove within all the speed limits all the time.

It's not about how good or not a tyre is... It's the type of tyre made for its purpose.

Hi Ken.

Nice to see u have returned. [laugh]

OK Im now on PS3 n find them more than enough for day to day driving. Up n down genting b4 n they r more than enough. [thumbsup]

Also good for 180kmh on the NSHW and abt 140kph on our eways. [thumbsup]

Mine 205/50/16 n paid abt $180 in SG n can get abt $170 in JB. Made in Thai.

They r good in wet n dry n not too noisy or bumpy. Good everyday use tires. [nod]

I pump 215Kpa Nitrogen all round.

Yes Ps3 is not in the same league as re11 ad08 and pilot super sport

Yes there is 2 sub version of pilot sport ps3 (ps3 and ps3 ST) ST michelin said is silent tuned

May be lower noise level

Again for day to day driving

You don't really need the pilot range of products

Energy xm or new primacy 3 ST if size available is more than enough

Hi sir good day!!!

Yes PS3s are good tyres, UHP tyres. But they are not what I am looking for... I am looking for extreme summer tyres. Think R1R, ADO8, re-11, re-070 etc

Trash the extreme tyres and they let you trash them some more. Trash the UHP tyres and that's it.

But then again, yes gentle daily driving on extreme summer tyres vs UHP are an overkill. Wasting money lol.

That said. Trashing the tyres also subjective... Lol

Btw I pump 38-40psi and 1-2 psi less rear. That's 270kpa I think... Lol

Yes you are right... That's if all of us do the same gentle day to day driving...

Cause when I get in my car and close the door and start my engine... I enter a new world... When I speed the sky's the limit.... I risk dying every time I am behind the wheel.... My brain malfunctions and usually shuts down when I floor my car.... But this doesn't happen when I have passengers, but then I drive alone in my car like 80% of the time....

Hence I have concluded that I need extreme performance summer tyres. If gives me peace of mind, however little.

I've ran both RE11 and AD08 before, I prefer the AD08.
However since you mentioned max-performance, I still much prefer R888 over AD08 & RE11.

I'm only comparing dry grip performance in hard driving & trackday use.
(no wet comparison because I always drive slowly in wet, no matter what tyres. [grin] )

only AD08 and RE11 is street legal

R888 is not legal use on our street because of semi slick class, that is why very poor on wet condition

please choose the right tyre for right car and right application at right amount of budget [bounce2]

can contact the local official distributor of R888(TOYO) check online (PTS tel 68445575) for Official confirmation or the WS who sell you in written invoice otherwise make them pay for the FINE [knife] to be fair to the Driver [thumbsup]

last time my friend installed yokohama A050 was made to sign a document stated driver was aware this tyre is not street legal by Yokohama local official distributor [thumbsdown]
