Great photos and no rain.

Must be a first :-)

Yes, good observation. It was dry during my 2 days in N Wales, though the skies darkened every now and then. Temp went up to 18*C in the day.

Finished my UK trip with 3 days of work in Liverpool. Met nice friendly S'porean couple in same hotel. Small world indeed!

Managed to spend a couple of hrs in historical town of Chester. Drove there from Albert Dock via Kingsway Tunnel under River Mersey. Toll: £1.70

Info for avid shoppers (sorry, no pics) - there's this huge Factory Outlet near Chester, just off M53, called Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlets, biggest in UK.

Pics of town centre. Chester :

Two of your photos actually have signs of direct sunlight. You are lucky to see the sun!

Yes, blue skies too!

I arrived at Conwy Castle 1/2hr b4 closing. Anyway, the town is unique becasue it used to be a 'Walled Town' in the old days. Though I didn't visit the inside of the castle, I was able to walk on those walls that meandered around the city.

The Arch is located at one end of Nelson St.

Originally, Liverpool Chinatown was the largest in Europe at one time but now it appears to be just focused on the row of restaurants on short Nelson St. Grocery stores are scattered across the junction on various roads, intersperse with other business establishments from the Middle East, Turkey & Paskistan.

There are many speed camers in the UK, even in B-roads and small town streets and are always big and yellow with early warning. If it is not visible enough to most people, it is illegal there.

are radar detectors legal in UK? apparently they are in the US

I guess if manufacturers of the radar detectors openly advertise their products, they should be legal bah??
